This is our favorite "bang for the buck" layout on this class of Regent's ships. We usually get the Superior suite. Same layout as Concierge but with fewer extras like the coffee maker, multiple WiFi logins, etc. We sail on Grandeur in a month, also on Deck 8, but up towards the bow.
You are so lucky. Grandeur is our favourite ship, and Spendor is a close second. Enjoy.

We love Queen Victoria and would likely cruise on her before QA again. We also love QM2 which is probably our favourite Cunarder. 😊
If you don't do caviar, lobster etc., is there an alternative event?
@aboutluxurycruising 2 minutes ago 259 subscribers You could stay on the ship if this is not your thing, but it would be a shame to miss it. Seabourn does a brilliant job of providing alternative food options. Our friends are vegetarians, but they absolutely loved the whole experience.
Unfortunately, the background "music" makes your commentary very difficult to listen to.

Hi, where would be the nearest parking for this hotel & terminal 3 in general. Thanks.
Hi, As the hotel is in the central hub of Heathrow, parking is a challenge! There is parking at Terminals 2 and 3, but this is really for short-term parking. Apart from that, numerous off-airport parking facilities are available depending on what you need and how long you want to park. Google it, and you will see what I mean. Good luck
Is this the best hotel to stay in if we're flying from terminal 3 virgin flight
It's the one we always use when we fly with Virgin. It is about a 10-minute walk through the underpass. The other one is the Aero Hotel, accessed via the underpass, but we have not stayed there yet 😊
Silly question, but are spa treatments included in the price of the cruise?
Sadly not. One of the few things they don't include. But they are good!😎
Are the cooking classes included? (We are taking a 12 day cruise beginning in Lisboa and end in London on the Gradeur next year. )
The last time we did the Culinary Arts Experience it cost us $89 each. We thought it was so worth it but you need to book early, if you should be able to do it online in your Regent account, if not, make sure you book as soon as you get on the ship. Enjoy your cruise😊

Interesting to see what this Hilton is like. No surprises, it might be a transit hotel however it couldn’t be more bland and cheap looking. U.K. Hilton hotels are near the bottom rung of the ladder. No offence to you, just my honest opinion.😊
Some really interesting tips here! Some you would never think about until it’s too late.
We did the transatlantic cruise to Miami and found it awful. The ship was stunning and had great staff, but the average age was about 80. That would be fine if it was people enjoying how lucky they were, but I've never seen such miserable-looking people. Never again.
Sometimes, it makes you wonder why some folks don't realise how lucky they are. Being on one of these ships is an absolute privilege that only a few people will be lucky to experience. We thank our lucky stars every day and do it with a smile, hoping to brighten other people's lives. In the Caribbean at the moment, and whilst the average age of people on our cruise is in the upper quartile, they all seem to be having fun! Good for them😃
Oh, goodness. That's too bad. We've been on Splendor twice now, and will be on Grandeur for a transatlantic in a month. We found the average age to be about 60, or my age. Met some really nice people both times, some we're still in touch with. Yeah, there were a few sour pusses and folks perhaps a little too old to be traveling, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Hi well it looks lovely,we’ve done a lot over the last 30 years and at our age as they say small is beautiful ,Going on Azamara in May for the 6 th time,we have always wondered about Regent which is the same size ship and must admit it’s lovely. of what your video shows ,We like round Portugal coast line ,have see the what the prices are 🤔 for a cruise,I’ve just been looking at the making of the new MSC ship 20 decks 9 thousand passenger two thousand crew 👀🤔 in the past we’ve done big ships but not that big never again,bet it’s like a football match,(it’s an age thing) .You never know we might see you ,the food looks unbelievable,take care Cedric 🥂🛳👀

Great video. Especially liked that it was relatively short and hit all the relevant areas. We were on Splendor last fall and had a great time. Jorge the Maître D was on our cruise and we talked about his transfer to setup dining on Grandeur. He’s such a great guy. We enjoyed our trip so much that we booked another one in May this year.
