This is even more beautiful in person!!! Super creative!!!
I love these!!!
Soooooo Cool!!!!
@@TillysTavern thanks! I'm excited for the next one in the series!
Love this!!! It came out even better than I had imagined!!!
@@TillysTavern thank you! I learned so much on this one.
Those Chairs are going to be great!!!
I miss thrifting in Colorado. There’s nothing worthwhile in Austin, Texas.
@@kayhenry6293 oh man, I would think there were lots of great antiques around there! 😕
@@diamondzfromtheroughDIY there are, but nothing that is cheap enough to buy for resale.
@@kayhenry6293 bummer 😞
How fun! Love those chairs!! You thrift like a champ!! 💪 😊
@@user-gj2lm5vi6r thank you! I am excited to make over some super glam kitchen chairs for our house!
Love it! And the bonus cameo appearance of Barry!
@@jgroves980 he always wants to be in on the action!
I really love your blending on this, and i luv anything water related, so this is pretty cool looking. Beautiful job!
@@diysbydar thank you!!
Wowie!!! The transformation is incredible!! It's so cool how you just splashed paint on there and made a sunset!! You never cease to amaze!! 😍
@@user-gj2lm5vi6r thank you! It's so much fun to play with color!
I love how you took your inspiration from that art piece and put it on that stand!!! It looks fantastic Leora!!! I just love it!!
@@thekraftycreech thank you so much! I'm so proud of this one! 💙
Fantastic job Leora!! I love it so much! My dad loved lighthouses, so this is a special one indeed! As always, I love seeing your process!!!
@@jgroves980 thank you! The rest of the set is going to have more lighthouses as well. Can't wait to see it all together!
Love watching you make functional art!! You make it look so fun and beautiful! 😍💜
@@user-gj2lm5vi6r thank you so much! I had so much fun learning with this piece.
@@diamondzfromtheroughDIY I love that you show yourself in the learning process! It's really humbling of you and very encouraging to newbies!! 💜
Looks amazing! Awesome job 👏👏👍😊❤
@@pamsheets632 thanks so much for watching! 💙
It's so pretty great art blending
@@oreobenavidez953 thank you! I learn so much at paint retreats. Both techniques (ocean scape and the top blend) I picked up at a artist gathering the week before I made this!
@@diamondzfromtheroughDIY I've been painting for years I could never get into land scaping my profile pic is my own that took 3 months
@@oreobenavidez953 well that's a pretty good painting! I have yet to venture into trying to paint the human form at all. Intimidating!
@@diamondzfromtheroughDIY that was a tough chic to paint on canvas
Love the rescue! The Alice transfer looks amazing. And I adore the knobs! Your color blending turned out so well - really soft and smooth blend with all those colors! I wish you'd shown more of the steps involved in getting from the 'hot mess' stage at the beginning, to that gorgeous soft blend at the end. Not sure about the hard edges of the harlequins - looks too jarring and out-of-place with the rest of the dreamy/moody (imo) - would have preferred softer (paint or distressed) edges on them. Overall, well done! What a beautiful example of waste-not, want-not. (PS and oh, your juicy stash... 😲😎😝)
@@findingjoy4725 thank you for watching! I am still learning on what to film and what is just boring; sounds like people do want to see more of the blending! I have some more Alice themed pieces in mind for the future and hope you will check those out when I'm done! 💙
That is sooo cute, and I’m not even a cat person. Well done.
Thank you so much! It was hard to let this one go! 😊 Thanks for watching!
I can’t get it to show right side up, either. What a shame. I’m trying to watch on my iPad, and it won’t straighten out the video.
I finally got the software on the laptop, so new videos seem to be working correctly!
I use a similar trick on a jar that won’t open, but I use the back of a butter knife. It’s great for salsa. I’m glad I checked out this video. It’s a great companion piece to the other chair. I love the final touches with the gold wax.
Sorry I missed this comment! Thank you for watching. I loved how these looked together so much I have been hunting for more of these chairs!
Coffee makes you a soul sister, LOL. This is so cute. I love the kitty cat, and I’m also a steampunk fan.
Thank you! I just put out a video for a steampunk armoire you might like! Also I run on coffee and Pepsi in the studio; it's the only way to go! 😁
Great job, beautiful tables! Sorry about your foot, I understand very well what it's like to work gimped up! I have severe lupus, 2 new hips, and 1 wrist replaced. My back is bad and I always have something out of wack, but you press on. Luv your design!
Thanks Dar! We just have to find a way around it to do what we love, right? Where there's a will there's a way!
Wow! I love the way you work the camera! You are terrific at the telling of the story! This is a fantastic flip! Gorgeous! 🎉
Many thanks my friend! And thanks for helping film the last bit!
Wow!! They turned stunning
Thank you! These prints are so fun to work with!
Wow. Those are beautiful 😍
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
Fantastic work!! I love them so much ❤❤
Thank you! They were so much fun to make!
Very impressive job! And very beautiful outcome! I could never do that but you're extremely talented even with one foot! Hope it gets better soon! 😊❤
Thank you so much! I will be so grateful when I can put this foot down again! 😆
@@diamondzfromtheroughDIY I know it's hard. In January I broke my primary right wrist. It gives you a new perspective on things. But not being able to walk without crutches I think would definitely be worse. Take an be careful and get better soon! 🙏☺️
Wow, they are gorgeous. Did you sand the resin between coats?
@@Charise389 I did not sand the actual epoxy; I don't have fine enough sandpaper. I DID have to pick out one of the glitters piece by piece because they were too 3D; I'd recommend flat glitters!
Amazing, love it❤️
Thank you so much!
Really luv your piece, you transformed it into a beauty. Well done!!
Thanks Dar! I appreciate you watching!
This is awesome! Very very cool
Thank you so much!
Another beauty! 😍 I love watching your process! I can't wait to try my hand at some small projects! I hope that I can pick your brain when I try it! 😅
You know it! I'm happy to help! Thank you for watching!
It looks amazing!! I absolutely love the green blend you did on the outside of the cupboard, it’s gorgeous ❤❤
Thank you! I was so bummed I failed to get ANY footage of me painting it; I got inspired and just dove in without thinking about filming! Oops! 😆
That turned out great! I love what you did, especially the beautiful decoupage.
Thank you! I've been decoupaging everything that holds still for the last few months... So many wonderful options!
I absolutely loved watching this video! All the details and the way you demonstrate your techniques is wonderful! You are so talented and creative and it shows in your projects! 🥰
Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel! 💖
Wow! Just started watching Desert DIY videos and came across this challenge. You are a true artist! Really love your aesthetic! A steampunk cat!!! Fabulous!
Thank you so much! That means a lot to hear, I really appreciate it!
And THIS BEAUTIFUL BOY IS ALL MINE!!!!
I can't wait to see him in your room! Be sure to send a photos once it's in place!
I especially loved seeing how you created new feet! I love your videos! 💜😊
Thanks! I love to salvage anything I can from other "less desirable" pieces of furniture and put the parts to good use!
Beautiful job! Love the design!
Thank you! I'm so bummed I didn't get footage of the actual painting, but at least I still had the prep!
Soooo good!!!!
Thank you!! Definitely outside my wheelhouse to just do restoration, but it was fun challenge!
I watched all the Ugly Suckling Challenges and you were hands down the clear winner, innovative as well as beautifully executed! Great job!
Wow! Thank you so much! That means a lot to be a viewer's choice as well as the judge, so I appreciate the vote of confidence! Thanks for watching 😊
Oops Duckling, thick thumbs typo
@@60something4 I figured that's what you meant but it did make me laugh! 😂
Oh my goodness! You are absolutely adorable & hilarious! “Change number two hundred eighty seven…”I haven’t finished, yet, but I had to come comment. I love how real you are in this. I know that this will turn out beautifully. PS I just finished the video. The chair is GORGEOUS❣️ WOW!
Thank you so much! If it's one thing I'm terrible at, it's "scripted acting"! 😂
I can’t watch it sideways either and I’m watching on my TV
Sorry about that; I have tried every orientation of filming and every orientation of video editing and I still have this problem. I don't know what the trick is! 😞
I LOVE the colors you picked!! Also your they way you pull together your theme!!! Awesome! 05:42! My reaction as well!
Thank you! You know how I love my blue! 💙
Omygosh what a beautiful piece. Love this❤
Thank you so much!
WoW!!!! Ok that came out beautifully! I love It all!!!
Thank you!
Sorry I can't watch sideways
Does it not turn on your phone? I noticed it played sideways on my iPad but I could rotate the phone and it showed full screen.
@@diamondzfromtheroughDIY i did rotate my phone and it was still sideways I pressed manually by clicking the icon and it didn't rotate
@@oreobenavidez953 dang it; I don't know what the trick is to make it work correctly; are you using iPhone or Android?
Wow, i am in love with this piece. You got it going on with your eye for colors and style, new sub here! So glad to meet you and your style of creating. Cant believe you hustled and got this done so fast. Now, its really the truth those hubbies just kiss us in passing, just had the same experience a couple minutes ago, lol. Loved tour color's, the papers and embellishments. Total package. I look forward to seeing more of your creations, awesome job!!
Thank you so much! My new year's resolution is to post videos more consistently; thanks for hosting this challenge and starting me off on the right foot!
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you! And thanks for watching! 💙
this turned out stunning!!! i love all the different elements you have added to it to create this truly spectalur vanity!! Thank you so much for joing this challenge!!!
Thank you so much! I did not think I was going to make it... I'm really happy with how it turned out though! Thank you for hosting!
Well you work GREAT under pressure!! haha Its truly a show stopper!
