The Lyrics are a delight, the shifts of dynamics from my to forte are perfect, inflections of your voice, compelling, and a great melody, an earnestness of empathy, they all combine with your presentation to be classic, iconic, provoking emotion and a longing of spirit. Es una verdadera joya. La performance de Tell me es maravillosa. Es una banda que con música de calidad nunca perdió la alegría. El carisma de Susanna es inaudito, por eso tiene a la multitud en la palma de su mano, como dijo el vecino comentador. El equilibrio logrado por nuestra querida Sue debe ser único o casi único. Clase, belleza, rock, alegría, energía, sonrisas, entonación perfecta, coros de ángeles, y el difícil pero necesario equilibrio entre rock-pop-baladas e incluso country y punk, ese rock acelerado y salvaje de los primeros años, todo sin perder (toda la banda) la feminidad y la sensualidad. Cuanto más las escucho y veo más me maravillan. Y todo eso sin drogas, sin escándalos y sin esas estupideces que suelen acompañar al rock. Y me olvidé de nombrar los hermosos temas, sobre todo los compuestos por ellas.

Have always loved Debbi's voice and this has to be my fave (despite the fact that this particular live vocal performance is not the best)!

It's fun watching Vicki playing her Les Paul. (I liked her almost black hair of that time, too.) I didn't hate their more pop sounding music; some of that material was outstanding, but I preferred the Bangles when they rocked out.

I like Katrina & The Waves version, on the B, Side of Walking On Sunshine, but to great to hear them sing their version no matter what.

I hope that sound tec got fired. I hate when a good band performs and the sound sucks. It got a little better towards the end. I never cared for that long guitar solo on Hero takes a fall. They should stick to the original recording of that song. Saw them on Letterman promoting Hero Takes a Fall and the sound was bad on that performance to. Well not every band can have a great drummer like Miss Gina Schock. There harmonies are always good have to give them that.

I am glad they gave it another go and gave us Doll Revolution just after the turn of the century. Another good album for the four of them and unfortunately their last as their reunion with all 4 of them only lasted for that album and the one track they did together for Austin Powers and Susanna Hoff's husband, Jay Roach (ironically, his request to his wife for a song for his movie got them to forgive each other and get back together for another 5 years - and the 3 who remain still perform together to this very day to my surprise).

Oh to be back in 85 and be 20 again...time goes way to fast...

Always loved the pre-Rickenbacker and pre-Manic Monday era of Susanna.

Great band, and it this point unique for the time.I get the Different Light era coming, shot them into stardom. Who knows, maybe if they stuck with this they could have gone the REM Route.Slow and Steady.
