Hello, I am Kaydub. This channel will be devoted to gaming and Buddhism content (my two loves you might say). Games with good stories are a plus. Have suggestions? Let me know! If you have an interest in Buddhism (my religion) there will be some recordings available on this channel as well. Want to collaborate? Send me an email or message me on Twitter (both are fine).
I hope the content is entertaining and enlightening! Thanks for visiting the channel.

Really truly great thumbnail, honestly. Cheers!
Appreciate the comment! It was difficult to get that at the right moment.
I can well and truly say that the gun is electrifying.
When you use it you can feel the electricity in the air
Thanks for this! It's surprisingly difficult to find guides on the premade classes. I like them for the lore and RP aspects.
Glad to be of assistance! There are some premade classes that are actually pretty balanced and do not get the respect I think they deserve. For example, a fair amount of times I will use Bard and Pilgrim premade classes.
Great video! Nasty three putt to start out though
Thanks! I am pretty sure if I hit a better first putt then the result would have been better!
What the fuck y'all mean with goofy, that shit was so good
To an extent I liked it, but it still left a taste of disappointment for me. Even after the third time completing the campaign (which was this recording).
Seeing my goofy ahh titan with a mohawk and a skull tatoo talk to me about salvation was really funny
That's on you for making him dumb looking, my guardian looks just fine and try cutscene was badass
😂
It is pretty subjective to the person playing the game on both appearances and their perception of the cutscene. For me it was just disappointing considering to get to the end you actually have to die 1-2 times in order to advance the story because of a buggy quest.
Basically we don’t really know wtf is going on with the story right now so we’ll have a non committal cut scene that makes no fucking sense
I can understand the why for the cut scenes, but it all seemed so Hollywood to me... and not really in the best way.
I kept using prior Maborel horse, until it disappeared. I think it may have been mauled offscreen.
That has happened to me before. An imp killed my horse while I was in an Ayleid Ruin *sad face*
Cool. If the can add merchants caravans in the road like in new vegas that would be great
А Harvest Lavender
I want a prisoner i can bust out and he can be forever grateful and follow me around n stuff
that's a thing. get NFF follower framework, and free one of the stormcloak captives from the roaming thalmor. you can then recruit the prisoner.
Do you get to the cloud district very often?
Hmm?
How can I assist, hmmm?
yes sera
Got something ta say?
Got somethin ta say?
This was helpful cuz I’m new to the game thanks 🙏
what about the unicorn??
Not really relevant to the list, because the unicorn is not for purchase. A good option if you can take out the minotaurs without the unicorn aggro-ing on you.
i just use shadowmere with gold horse armor
Which is fine most of the time. If you are trying to play a super good character though you are not doing The Dark Brotherhood storyline.
@@kaydub0415 nah I’m just trying to have fun lol
That is why I play games! Gotta have the fun factor.
I agree with if it's necessary. But often times what we need to hear is truthful & necessary. But it may not be kind. I guess we can try our best to say it in a kind way.
Just want to type this now before I forget. Im gonna watch the video in full, but there's some stuff I need to do. But that opening lick was so cool! I love Oblivion, played it to death back in highschool. Those days it wasn't on my radar that the levelling system was busted, so I had to play on easy to just beat the main story.
That is how I started out as well before studying up on efficient leveling and eventually installing a couple mods to counteract the level scaling issues. Still a great game, though.
@@kaydub0415 Ooooh, modded levelling systems? But i still play it on a dusty xbox 360...maybe i'll have to transition.
Some additional qualities I look for is: consistency in behavior, confidentiality if sharing secrets, reliability, honesty, and similar interests and hobbies.
What do you mean by attachment? How do you decide good & bad?
I could answer those questions, but it would defeat the purpose of priming. Priming is a teaching technique used to activate background knowledge of the learner and have them generate their answers to the teacher's inquiries. So my answer is what do you think of when someone says attachment? What is your criteria as to whether something is good or bad? And how does that relate to the concept of attachment? My answers will come when I record the full-length video, but I wanted to "warm up" any potential viewers before actually recording and uploading the next episode.
Serpent is the best.
I have never tried The Serpent. What build would you suggest for that birth sign?
That was a good video. I like Speechcraft for a Major Skill. When training it, it only matters how many times you play the wheel. You can keep a guard at 0 disposition and they will not attack. To lower it, I find the quarter they hate and quickly click thru clockwise- ending on the hate. To raise, quickly click thru clockwise- ending on the Love. That said, Personality is worthless. So is Luck.
I like people liking me so I actually work on personality quite a bit early in the game. Especially with Argonians and such as they are not really a well-liked race in the game.
I don't like any sign that gives a power; you can get that stuff in the game. I don't like any sign that gives +10 attribute points. When all Attributes are 100, leveling is finished. All characters can get there with time. That leaves the three magic buffs. I hated Atronach. Mage was too safe. I like a Breton Apprentice. You have access to Weakness to Magic at the spell making altar. I run up Destruction to 25 by roasting Everscamps and get a Drain Health spell. Then you make Believer: Weakness to Magic 100% for 4 sec and you make Deceiver: Soul Trap for 2 sec, Drain Health 100% for 1 sec, Weakness to Magic 100% for 4 sec (in that order) . It's like clubbing baby seals.
I am not a huge magic person so I often ignore the signs that involve magicka and such. I also like to have a good max health at the beginning of the game as I usually like to tank in the game. That is the beauty of the game, though. There is a combo for almost every play style.
@ 11:36 You could start at 65 Endurance ?
Not 100% sure. 60 is a possibility if one takes a race such as an Orc and is born under the sign of The Lady which boosts endurance 10.

The nearest Theravada temple to me is also about thirty miles away, and I gave up my car when I retired, although I keep my licence up to date. So I take a bus there at least once a month. The temple has monks from south east Asia, and is supported by local south East Asian families that have immigrated here. It was at that temple that I took Refuge in the Triple Gem, and accepted the Five Precepts with the head abbot monk, the Venerable Thach Truong Dhammo. Another monk was present. I’ve known Bhante Dhammo for some years now. Flew to Thailand one year, and spent four months in Chiang Mai in the northern mountains near Laos and Myanmar. There are hundreds of temples in and around Chiang Mai, including Wat Chedi Luang, and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on the mountain just to the west of the city. Another year I flew to Siem Reap, Cambodia for two months, followed by four days in Bangkok, Thailand before flying back to Canada. In Bangkok I went to a couple of the more famous temples, including the amazing temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, by the Royal Palace. The magnificent Angkor Wat Archeological Park is in the jungle just to the north of Siem Reap. Much of my time was spent at temples and meeting monks. You can easily live in Cambodia for less than $1000 U.S. a month, and still be much better off than most Cambodians. I don’t have lots of money, just a couple pensions. So I find the cheapest flights with KAYAK and Google Flights and other flight search apps, and sit in the cheapest seats on the plane. I rent cheap apartments in south east Asia for about $100 a month. I carry only one carry on size backpack and a cross body sling bag, so my stuff is always with me and I never have to check luggage or wait at carousels. Minimalist carry on travel. Very cheap. Returning to south east Asia later this year, or early 2023. I might never return to North America. Namo Buddhaya 🙏🏼 🙏🏼🙏🏼 ☸️🌴🌴🌴
My retirement plan is to become a monk. Probably by the time I get into my later 60s I will have had enough of working and going from paycheck to paycheck. So hopefully all the debts will be cleared and then can spend the rest of my natural life on spiritual goals!
th-cam.com/video/Gxfnu3yK3iQ/w-d-xo.html
Do you attend a Theravada temple? Have you traveled to Asia and visited Theravada temples and spent time talking to monks? I am also Theravada Buddhist. Namo Buddhaya 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 ☸️ 🌴 🌴 🌴
The closest temple to my location is about 30 miles away and I do not own a car so the short answer is no. I have also not been to any of the temples in Asia. On the to-do list if I ever have some money to travel.
Buddha is dead. Jesus is ALIVE!!!! John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: If Buddhism is true then Christ is a liar.
Buddhism is concerned with suffering, the origin of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the path to the cessation of suffering. You don't need an alive and well Buddha to contemplate suffering and have an insight that less suffering can lead to more contentment and peace of mind.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. In this case Buddhism steals from God.
As you know, I consider religious texts but I also look for additional sources. Religious texts can be extremely biased even the Buddhist texts I refer to. I am aware that is not what you believe and I try my best to respect that. Historically speaking, Buddhism and Christianity (both umbrella terms since both have multiple sects) developed as independently as religious systems could get during their respective time periods. Therefore, I conclude any similar beliefs are likely coincidence. Much like the development of agriculture in Europe was mostly independent of earlier agricultural development in Egypt. So no one really stole from anyone in that situation they basically found similar solutions to their food supply issues. In this case, it is similar beliefs concerning our spiritual needs.
I pulled a muscle in my back so it's easier to play games like this in the mean time
What had you been playing before you pulled that muscle in your back?
This Buddhism series has been very interesting, thanks for sharing your knowledge on this.
Thank you. I enjoy compiling the info and then sharing.
helped so much.thanks. U just gained a like.
Thanks! There are some people who play Oblivion that never use a horse, but I almost always buy a Bay horse to start the game.
@@kaydub0415 ur welcome! I just started playing oblivion and it is so BIG, i knew i had to get a horse. u made it easier : )
I hope you are enjoying the game so far. It is definitely my Elder Scrolls game and possibly my favorite overall game to play.
@@esperknighttOblivion isn't very big 😢 Compare to Elder Scrolls Online it is extremely small. Even smaller than Skyrim. Horses really aren't needed at all :)
Sice there are no dragons, I decided to go Argonian and warrior sign; but the beefy physical stats of the Redguard made it a tough choice.
One of the toughest choices I have to make playing the game is which playable race to choose for a play through. I do love playing as Argonians, but I also like the warrior races for their combat skills!
Absolutely love this and hits on the struggles I’m dealing with as well, great video! Looking forward to the next!
I tried my best to include almost all the struggles we all have been encountering!
I've never used horses so most of this is new information to me. Here's a like.
At the start I do not use horses, but sometimes I do "no fast travel" phases when I play so having a horse is a time saver. Also, mounting the horse and then fast travelling is much faster than regular fast travel.
@@kaydub0415 you can also get the same fast travel affected by fortifying your speed if I remember correctly.
I play with keyboard & mouse. In the lock screen, I push the mouse away from me to make the pick contact the tumbler, left click locks the tumbler in place. My brother plays with inverted mouse so he would have to pull the mouse toward himself. Contacting the tumbler hard makes it go up fast but when I move the mouse gently up, the tumbler will go up slow - most of the time. I keep gently tapping the tumbler until it goes up fast. The next time is almost always slow. I like to save before picking a lock so I don't needlessly raise Security if the chest is BS. I don't work on leveling Security until I get the skeleton key.
Thanks for the info! I am spoiled with being able to use a controller.
@@kaydub0415 I have a friend who uses controller but wants a PC . So this " Joy to Key " is a PC program ? I play with keyboard & mouse in a strange way. I use Right Click to move forward instead of W. Activate is F and Cast is C.
You wanna talk about Oblivion ? Do you still play ? @ 25:00 in your video, the problem with power leveling is that you'll only get +2 or +3 to raise your Attributes. I'm going to view the rest of your videos and hope you will take a look at mine. (your voice is better than mine)
If you do not have mods then power levelling does not have much benefit other than better loot, in my opinion. And yes, I still play Oblivion on a regular basis. I stream it sometimes on the weekends (Twitch).
@@kaydub0415 I DO agree that Pilgrim is the best pre-made class. all about Endurance.
Yall play with mods !? I play on an xbox 360 in my shack in the woods
@@juandemarko8348 I play with a few mods since I play on a gaming laptop. Nothing game changing or breaking really. A couple for the level scaling issues and then a couple for the textures.
