I did have a bit a trouble also, but I just watched a few videos on how to tie it, then just winged it, it not the proper traditional way but it works well, hope that helps

@@McneillyCo Thanks so much. I will include that for sure when I started my Celestial Vindicators. Do you know if that is the lore color? I don't know why people are using so much black, I suppose it makes the armor pop but it seems like a waste of a lot detail on a colorful model

I use a tiny piece of copper shaped like a wedge, then solder it closed. Hope that helps.

Hey mate thanks for the comment, there’s lots of variables, pretty much you need it as hot as possible without damaging the steel, and try keep it at a bright orange colour as hot as possible when setting the welds, and with hammer time you want at least 30% reduction. So say you start with a 10mm billet, it should be at least 7mm minimum after the welds are set, it might take a few gos to get it right, this one was a failure, and I’ve changed the way I do it so I wouldn’t follow this as a guide anymore, you can see some of my other successful ones on my Instagram. Thanks yeah still around haha hopefully get back to regular uploads soon, yes I thin my primers down at a 1 to 1 ratio helps with the airbrush and last a bit longer, I weigh it so I can repeat the process when needed. also I read somewhere that the models could have oils and stuff from the factory and best to wash them first so It’s just something I’ve always done.
