🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤🙂
This is a genius idea, it can help people survive till their situation improves. Hats off for thinking about homeless people.
I want to buy one How MUCH.
This guy is so awesome, and so talented. The City of Toronto needs to fund this, and stop griping about encampments. It also looks like some people would like this as a recreational unit as well!
I think this is a great idea I have a small dog and I live in Edmonton Alberta and I really would like to be able to build something like this so I have a safe place to go to any advice would be really nice
Awsome! Very thoughtful design. I was designing and building micro-home trailers designed to be pulled by bicycles several years ago. I'm pretty sure I was one of about 6 of us on the west coast of the US doing this at the time. With help, I got at least 12, maybe 16 of these to people who needed shelter. Best of luck to you. You are on a good path, my friend!
This is GREAT. I would love to see this become your full-time 501C company, either funded by a government or a non-profit entity. This may be one of your biggest lifetime callings.
Aims To Help The Homeless! ..he really was sincere and supportive. A good advocate for helping people we often just marginalize.
My Allah bless you brother
I'm sharing this for sure.🎉
Thank you❤
Have you considered getting in touch with Elon musk To maybe invest Or help with production and distribution
Respect 🌟
Wonder how the gov will f-up this project😒😶
Better then a homeless shelter.
Homeless shelters have violence, crime, and transferable diseases....tiny tiny homes is way better for safety .
The man in the video who stated the tiny homes were a step in the right direction...he really was sincere and supportive. A good advocate for helping people we often just marginalize.
How can I help you? I can make a donation to your cause.
There’s a channel ‘Johnny Strides’, who also interviewed this amazing man. He says where you can donate
Your an amazing man, kind hearted, awesome idea
Please GOD let this be ❤
Great idea! I love you are doing something. Now the questions l: Who is going to keep up the maintenance for the homes? Has the city designated a location for the bike homes?
Someone in that city help this man for gods sake.
I used to live in a van, but there were too many windows, and I didn’t really feel safe. I would have loved to have a little place like this. Gratefully, I have been in a tiny apartment since 2007, about 17 years, and I plan to live here for good ❤😊 ❤
great idea at least people wont freeze to death n winter
Just saw another video about this home. Awesome idea! Would love to know how much this would cost if made by the hundreds? I could also see a rear window being very useful for driving and for ventilation.
Ryan, I just saw the Johnny Strides Channel, I wrote this on his channel just minutes ago. When I was finished I clicked to see other video channels and your's came up first. I hope these thoughts and ideas will help you with this project. I am unfortunately leaving Canada the end of October because I want a better life and I'm Canadian by birth. Everything is getting incredibly expensive and difficult to exist in Canada and it's getting worse. You might have a very good solution. This is truly an incredible idea. It's much better built and much safer than other builds I've seen. All cities should get behind this as a better situation solution for people that are homeless and just want a better, safer way to live until they can get things in a better situation. It might be worthwhile contacting Ontario Works as they supposedly work towards getting people stabilized in better living conditions and getting themselves back on their feet again. If people can live in Vans parked all over the city, and people can build camps in public parks with tents, there should be absolutely no reason why this shouldn't be an alternative to having a home of somekind. The safety factor alone is tremendous. Maybe Ryan should also contact other cities in Ontario and see if City Hall's would get onboard with this. Kitchener has a homeless village at the intersection where one person has built an earthbag home on a derilict lot where other homeless people have also made encampments. The earthbag home was done totally properly, even levelled the ground before starting the build and hand cementing the outside of the structure to weather proof it. Even has a pitched roof and some form of electricity inside. I've noticed since it's been finished that the other shelters in the lot have become better built and weather proofed. So having a solid structure does inspire people to take more interest in creating a better camp and it has been improving what the lot looked like 4 months ago. Ryan, there is a TH-camr with a channel called "Kevin Builds (Modern Self Reliance)" here in Ontario, I believe somewhere near Guelph maybe. He has built some shelters and a bicycle shelter for the homeless. He builds them out of reclaimed and recycled supplies, which could be a way to cut costs. Begin a Co Operation with Habitat for Humanity (The Restore), for supplies. You also might want to contact 1-800-GOT-JUNK as they also sort and supply recyclable building supplies, if they pick them up, to Habitat for Humanity I think. Set up a donation fund for anyone to make a donation or donations as there are many people in the city that would be able and willing to make financial donations to build these as a form of temporary shelter to be used as a stepping stone to a permanent shelter or rental once people are back on their feet again. AWESOME IDEA, I wish I was financially in the situation to donate to building more of these. Matt - Toronto
This is so fucking amazing. My ex-boyfriend was homeless for a time thanks to an abusive household. He thankfully had a car to live out of, but I know so many don't even have that. Stuff like this, is a lifesaver and could be a game changer if legislation wasn't such a B*tch
Tons of love❤️🙏🏻
