What resort would you use as a frame of reference to compare Serenade too?? From what I can tell it's likely nicer than something like a RIU but not as nice (or as expensive) as a secrets/excellence/hyatt property??

Thank you for your review. We're booked to come here at the end of January to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I haven't seen a lot of reviews, probably because it's so new. I'm grateful and happy to hear your experience has been great. The last time I visited PC we stayed at another resort and I got so sick. I was praying that won't happen here and the food handling was good. I'm hoping this resort will restore my faith in Punta Cana as a good vacation spot.
