    Only person who questions the love languages is a quality time love language person. Haha. As my sister says “it’s all in quality Time Andrea “ haha. All the love languages. Love languages are not limiting they are liberating. So you can hit the nail on the head when you have only 10 min. Quality time has to be scheduled. You don’t stop loving someone because they don’t do what want. Haha. But you don’t hide it that you have needs or expect them to be the same. You make an effort to lvoe them the way they want and need. That’s the purpose Of love languages abundance not restriction. Nail on the head not missing each other in the halls

      Sorry for the delayed reply. We were celebrating our love. "haha". Yes, we agree that it is constructive to know and value how your partner expresses love and needs/wants to be loved. But the true meaning of love is so much greater.

    I wanted to ask do you all have any advice for couples who are being challenged with the responsibility of taking care of their parents, where you don't have alot of time to spend with each other as you should because of life responsibilities or taking care of Elderly parents with serious illnesses such as dementia and cancer?

    • @Richerorpoorermarriagepodcast
      @Richerorpoorermarriagepodcast 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Rashedagoins4810 thank you for your comment. Indeed, as a married couple, caring for elderly parents or loved ones is a great responsibility. And at times caring for a loved one can become extremely overwhelming. It may not only impact family resources but also encroach on family (married life) quality time. One of the things we stress is caring for the caregiver. Or what we would also call exhaustion prevention (time, energy, resources). It's important to set aside time for yourself and your spouse to do some things you enjoy that will allow you to enjoy one another while also taking a deep breath. That may require you looking into respite care or in-home care for your loved one. Which could, at the very least, give you an opportunity to schedule some quality time with one another. If you would like information for a resource that could help, please let us know.

      Trust is something that is built over time. At times distrust may be due to insecurity. But there are also times where distrust is the result of past hurt. This is the reason effective communication between a couple is so important. It's necessary to create an environment where trust is built, stabilized , grows, and thrives.

      We want to connect on all levels of intimacy within our marriage. And it definitely helps when there continues to be a physical attraction between spouses.

  • @ykmtv

    After your married and honestly way before you consider it there does need to be a separation from friends of the opposite sex. This doesn't mean that you can't have these relationships anymore but your interactions should change out of respect for your spouse. And obviously looking for new relationships of opposite gender in a relationship is absolutely inappropriate. Also in regards to the description question if you're keeping a relationship from your spouse, how is that not cheating?

    • @Richerorpoorermarriagepodcast
      @Richerorpoorermarriagepodcast 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We agree! It's important to consider your spouse's feelings and input. It starts with communicate with one another to discuss boundaries for all types of friendships (same-sex, opposite-sex, mutual, and non-mutual).
