I suggest instead of changing the transparency of a wall or object or something if you get close to it if it blocks you camera you should tween it so its a more smooth transition

bit of a wierd way to make a dash but i cant really talk (my dashes are coded very poorly) i feel like giving verlocity in a direction is easier cause prevents cliping and you dont need the ray cast personaly i like more controll in dashes ( such as dashes from battle ground games ) but depends on what game your trying to make although dash was pretty simple to code so good for a tutorial
