Our bad. We brought her to a clinic with another dog whose due for vaccine. We didn’t know that the other dog (a dog from another owner) has Parvo so MEKI got infected with same. She was a puppy then.

does she also have same problem like vomit and diarrhea . what is her age i have also like same puppy and same age haha

@@pematamang1274 she was vomiting and poops were too smelly. She was too weak and she was also no appetite for eating but she survived. She will turn 2 years old this July 2.

Hi April, I feel you. Namatayan na kami ng more than 5 months old Pug puppy due to same case and we left the puppy sa vet clinic for them to take care. When we found out that MEKI is acting the same as the puppy who died due to parvo, we immediately rush her to the vet clinic and nag test nga kami for her parvo and found out positive. This time around with her I decided to take risk and brought her home. Kami ng sister ko were reading all stories online about parvo and things to do for dogs/puppies with parvo case. What we felt that brought her to life were 2 things, prayer and being loved. We showed her that we were on her side. My parents, my sister and myself. My sister would nurse her from evening to dawn time kasi I worked in a BPO, I nurse MEKI during day time until I sleep while my parents nurse her during my sleep hours. Hindi namin tinatanan ang pakikipag usap sa kanya. We cheered her, sang her joyful songs, talk to her with joyful stories when she was much younger. It was challenging kasi 2 months lang siya and very slight yung chance for her to survive. The symptoms: 1. Mahina at matamlay siya 2. Mabaho yung poops niya 3. Nagsusuka ng medyo slimy Yellow na may amoy din 4. No appetite for food talaga siya Home Remedies: 1. She had her dextrose and we made sure that nasa right position ng ugat niya para hindi ma dehydrate. From the vet going home nasira ko pa nga dextrose niya while going out from the car kaya I went to a hospital nearby para mag pakabit ng dextrose sa actual nurse ng mga tao. 2. We force feed MEKI pero hindi yung dog foods or any table foods. Since wala siyang gana talaga so there is a gel medyo expensive nga lang kaso the puppy's life was more important so lagay lang namin sa gums niya para hindi niya need mag chew. (Nutrigel) 3. We administered Metronidazole (anti-biotic) but please check with vet the proper dosage, what we had was 6ml for every 8 hours. 4. You need to also have the dextrose powder for the water consumption. Minsan we force her na painumin ng little water with dextrose powder. We hope this helps. We will pray for your puppy too. God bless you April.

After 15mins Ipainom mo nmn yung METRONIDAZOLE s pagtatae every 8hrs din After 1hr Painumin mo sya ng COTRIMOXAZOLE 400mg 1/2 tablet 2x a day DB3 Magtimpla k ng isang baso ng tubig lagyan mo ng 1 kutsara ng dextrose powder tapos ihalo mo ang 1/2 tablet ng smp500 hayaan mo.matunaw..yan ang magiging inumin nya s loob ng isang araw ipapaubos lng maghapon ang isang timpla DB4 Pag sumuka painumin mo sya ng 1/2 kutsara ng katas ng luya haluan mo ng konting brown sugar at ipainom mo....pagsusuka lng ha NOTE: Pag TUMAE painumin mo uli ng DB1.
