We were invited by Bruce to perform a crane inspired dance for this event. We chose “Ua Tsaug Nab Khoom” for our song as it represents a significant part of history, a time where our Hmong people had to migrate across country with their families. Often times, our elders wish to go back to their homeland as it is what they are familiar with and where they call home. The cranes relate as they often migrate with their families or group to live in different places by the water until the season changes and it is time to migrate again.
