It wasn't until later that they learned Faye placed her trust in Kratos and Atreus' bond to "be better" after the event with Baldur. Faye guided them toward the path she wanted for them so that they could make their own fate and it worked. The Prophecy still played out the same but with Odin in Kratos' stead.

I appreciated that kratos never try to stop the profeccy of him dying, very likely with all he learn about the profeccy of greeks try to avoid them and being the cause, he just accepted and prepare atreus when he is gone

He'll come back to life as he'll kill the god of death like he did with Thanatos and Hades. He'll comeback to save Atreus even if he died.

For ages I never understood, why devs are blocking your path to exploration of other open world places? like, why?? What's the point??? Just let players explore the world and enjoy their time. And as a fan of Stalker series since the very first game, I can say that this wasn't the case in original trilogy. Like, in Clear Sky you can get to the Kordon right away, after you done talking to story characters on Clear Sky base. So when they take you to the swamps, you can just go straight to the kordon and move on. Nothing is stopping you from doing so. Same with Shadow of Chernobyl or Call of Pripyat. So why block players from visiting other locations early now in a new game? What's the point?? And if they don't want player to start other story missions early then disable the scripts and make them activate only when the player complete previous main quest missions. That is that simple!

lol fixed... i loaded it up yesterday and tried to enter a building for my task and a bandit i killed on the otherside of the door stops its opening. it visually looks open to me until i tried to enter then it instantly closes. the speed of the patches is admirable but this game is still a steaming pile of shit until they fix the bugs and stuff. the story itself is pretty amazing but its hard to get immersed when its bug after bug
