One of my favorite movies of all time!💕

We cose this movie while undergoing Chemo Therapy at the Veterans Administration hospital in San Antonio , a film upon which we could all agree . Thank you for making it special !

Helluva athlete to go from a non-rider to the level of skill he displayed here. The ride down the precipice was done without a stunt double.

My mom and I would watch it when I was 12 when it came out. My mom is gone now and I just watched it and know my mom Watched it with me. I will always love the movies they did together! Tom Burlinson, do you still ride? We did own horses when I was young but had to sell them when I was 19. I can still get on and fly!

I sure wish this orchestral experience would come to the U.S. I have loved this movie all my life. I first saw "Man from Snowy River" as an eleven year old, when it came to small-town U.S.A. I fell in love INSTANTLY!! I had been practically born on horseback, I spent countless hours riding the mountain ranges around my state, and I was completely enthralled by this movie. I'd never before seen an Australian saddle, but I sure did try to gallop down the mountainsides in my English-style endurance saddle! I entertained myself endlessly, riding along with my imaginary Jim Craig and Denny.

I smiled all the way through this interview, I LOVE the movie and I've watched it numerous times and will again. What lovely people Miss Thornton and Mr Burlinson are.

It's been in my top five since 1982..... -Wizard of Oz -Willy Wonka -A Clockwork Orange -Snowy -Francisco Kid They say....Don't meet your heros. You won't like them. This is an exception.... Listening to them makes me LOVE them even more. R.I.P. Kirk.... Spartacus !

I saw The Man From Snowy River as a very young girl, I think I was 8! I’m nearly 49 now and I just finished another of my countless viewings of both the original and sequel. I adore them both and I would have given anything to see this live music presentation of the film. The score is stunning and both films are a part of my heart.

Christopher's talent was behind the 🎨 genius in the theatrics 🎭 "the ascot scene in the My Fair Lady film" was the inspiration for "justify My love" part of the concert, "the girlie show". He was great support at the beginning of her stage dance performances in NYC clubs. That's him as backup dancer in "everybody" and physical attraction" 🍀🌱🌾. RIP and condolences to his family 🎗️.

His book was well written and very believable.

Christopher was a great artist in his own right. RIP.

Maggie Smith was Dame funny 💞

42 years ago that would have placed me at 31 years of age. Remembering watching this movie with my 2 daughters. I bought the VCR video a few years later and we made our popcorn and fell in love with the movie cried for the horse 🐎 that went down the mountains cheering holding our breath, cried when the horse was hurt. Great movie. Wish I had a DVD to have on hand. So glad to see these beautiful couple again. I am now 73 (9/28/23)

All time favorite movie and sound track. I learned to play the piano by ear, thanks to this movie! ...and got into horses because of this movie. It also inspired me in track and field in high school which lead to college track and scholarships. I probably still have both movies memorized. I am forever grateful for this perfect work of art!!!

Return to Snowy River was in fact a great sequel to the original!!!!!!
