@@nathan3647 hi, I ended up selling the predator shortly after I upgraded to a 10 gpm but I found out fast that it's to hard to downstream with the 10. It's like spraying SH out of a fire hose. I do love the 10gpm for driveways and rinsing but I was really missing my 4gpm. But anyways, I had no issues with my predator. I was about to buy another one but decided to build the electric start one instead. It's pretty much the same engine and pump just without the frame and the cost was cheaper. @MyPressureWashingBusiness Thank you so much for responding. Your video inspired me to go and buy the predator and I'm so glad I did. I LOVE IT it's so powerful. Although I need a few things such as that unloader valve you mention and also a buffer tank. My plan is definitely to start small but eventually work my way up. I only have a smaller suv at the moment amd have been trying to figure out ways to be able to have a mobile pressure washing business with a smaller footprint. I love that electric start and that pressure washer. I definitely copied your links when I'm ready to move up. I live up North and pressure washing is only going to be about 5 maybe 6months out of the year due to climate. Definitely subbed you when I seen your videos and so happy things appear to be going good for you and your family.

@@wellsmd1hi. no those are the 3 hose setups. They start at $500 and up. This one you have to run water through it at the end of your job.

@@ApplyinPressure407 hi. Do you have the arrows on the external unloader valve facing away from the pressure washer? Do you have any leaks around your hoses/fittings? There's not a whole lot it could be. It may be possible you got a defective external unloader valve. Did you buy the one from the video? I only ask because a few guys on here found cheaper ones and had similar issues. Hope this helps.

@MyPressureWashingBusiness thanks for your reply and yes sir I got everything hooked up correctly though I do have a slight drip coming from the bottom allen key nut i put Teflon tape on it just can't get it all the way tight with no leaks would that lil bit cause an issue? Also i just took the little hose that came with the machine off of the chemical injector instead of just blocking and zip tieing like you did is that ok? And yes everything i bought from your links I was beginning to think the same thing that maybe I got defective unloader possibly

@@ron_burgandy hi. The external unloader valve doesn't effect down streaming. Plug your downstream injector in after this external unloader valve. I downstream everyday with this external unloader valve. Hope this helps answer your question

@@ThatYT60 I pretreat with a 4% sodium hypochloride. (Chlorine)

It worked awesome. I think I am going to put a reducer to slow down the water it is dumping. The key point is to keep some water flowing to keep the pump cool.

@@riversidepressurewashing2024 yard signs work great for me. And still to this day are how I get most leads but you have to stay on top of them. Every couple weeks i go put them back up at the entrance of my busy neighborhoods. It's expensive first starting out because your signs always get taken but I keep putting them back.

@@SandeepRehal-eb1km sorry to hear that. what pressure washer do you have? Do you have a pressure gauge? Remember, you have to have the external unloader psi turned down lower than the factory unloader. Do you have the flow going in the correct direction, it needs to be facing away from the pressure washer.

You're supposed to pull the trigger while starting.

On that Amazon unloader l, if you look into the outlet before you put on the quick connect adapter, was there a small hole down inside the outlet on the sidewall. Was there any parts in the outlet orvwas it empty?

Just found out they make a flow sensitive unloader that eliminates the recoil you get when you pull on the trigger after bypass mode!

@@dustinjohnson2116 that's correct. I Installed a pressure gauge before I put the external unloader valve on to see what my factory unloader was at, and then I installed the external unloader with the pressure gauge and turned that one just a little bit lower than the factory one.

@@bryanbahling2877 yes you should plug off the factory chemical injector hose. Simply find a small bolt that fits snuggly in the clear tube and use a zip tie to tighten around it. That's what I did and it worked great.

If you need a chemical injector You will want to use a general pump downstream injector, they are the best. amzn.to/3KTpA6I And you need the quick connects amzn.to/4bd9dN1

@@D-boi93 hi, I also had a hard time understanding how the float worked at first. But no it can't overflow. Once the tank is full the float valve will close and no more water will be coming in. Think of it as if the tank is now sealed completely off with only the water that is in it. If the pressure washer is still running, now it is just circulating the same water over and over until you pull the trigger on the gun and start spraying water, only then does the float valve reopen and replace the water you are using. Hope this helps.

@@MyPressureWashingBusiness so say I don’t use the pressure gun, an the tank is full.. well the water is still gonna fill because the float valve isn’t on that side..? Right.. if that makes sense..

@@D-boi93 The garden hose is no longer hooked up to your pressure washer once you install the external Unloader Valve. It is hooked up to the float valve on the buffer tank only, so there is no more extra water being introduced once the tank is full and the float valve closes. It only recirculates the 30 gallons you already have in the tank through your pressure washer
