This is music
Unfassbar!
Maybe the most beautiful passage in all of classical music is the stretch from 1:00-1:20, with 1:19-1:20 itself being the very peak. It’s a simple four note motif, played 4 times with slightly different harmonization each time, getting progressively more intimate, poignant, and bittersweet-sweeter each time. The changes to the harmony pierce deeper and deeper (and at a slightly different “angle”) each time, until at 1:20, it’s reached the deepest level of human feeling. You can tell by how it’s played here, how much they feel that chord, even though it’s played pianissimo, as if too personal to belt it out. But turn up the volume, and you are hearing a musical moment at its most intimate and personal.
Where is Martha Argerich?
With God all things are possible.🌹
Prefiero otras interpretaciones, francamente.
11:25 tr❤
She nailed it
She is the finest of her generation. Outstanding.

I just saw her perform in Seattle a few weeks ago playing a mix of Liszt and Chopin. She is impressive and has a large repertoire.
Sublime
Guys if you're gonna talk about cziffra, do it in his performance's comments alright ? This isn't Gyorgy
These lightning fast performances miss the entire musical point. It is a galop. It is supposed to start a a fast but deliberate pace and get faster with each iteration. If you start out at a full galop, there is no place to go. You end at full speed. This performance, and Cziffra, are to show-off, not be musical at all.
Gracias Alexander!!! 👏👏👏 ❤
“For beauty is nothing but the beginning of terror which we are barely able to endure, and it amazes us so, because it serenely disdains to destroy us. Every angel is terrible.” ― Rainer Maria Rilke, Duino Elegies
Wooooow, the coda!
Geweldig
❤
Sublime <3
cravei o like 900. 😂
A superb symbiosis, thx to both, what can music more offer than this special way of intimacy.Bravo.🙏🏼❣🌞
Wow on so many levels
To be honest, Avdeeva is such an underrated artist, especially someone who won first prize at Chopin. The Prokofiev last movement is much more monumental than Trifonov’s too fast tempo
This is the most awesome rendition I have ever heard. What a perfect and wonderful concert from Yuliana Avdeeva and the orchestra. Dynamic, strength ,sensitivity and musical empathy and this unique touch. Yuliana Avdeeva is an utterly and unique singular pianist. She makes me absolutely happy .Really wonderful. 6 of 5 claps. 👋👋👋👋👋👋
I feel like floating in waves.
Beautiful virile performance, great sound, à la Gina BACHAUER!
Only just tiny it. And it will be Franz Shubert
Shubert tipically. When melody line in swirling
Esecuzione e sensibilità bella fino alle lacrime
Dignidade , beleza e arte ; é uma rainha!!!!❤ 🌹🌹🌹
Best version
This is one of the most difficult and at the same time most idiotic arrangements of a vocal aria for piano. There are, as you can see, good and bad paraphrases. Good ones are, for example, Wieniawski's Faust Fantasy for violin and piano, Liszt's Rigoletto, and bad ones - this one here. The original of Rossini's aria is perfect, but Ginzburg's adaptation has nothing in it - neither beauty, nor wit, nor idea. Lisitsa's masterful performance is not enough to give this worthless piece meaning.
So far only your comment looks idiotic and very funny here. Sorry.
Why doesn’t the score have the key signature (F♯ major) for the Promenade at 8:49, and it has these needless sharps all over?
Why playing this after Horowitz ... ?
An advert right in the middle of var. 18...what a way to ruin a nice video
The most incredible performance I've ever seen. So much passion. I will never forget this.
One notices how beautiful the music is, rather than the undeniable excellence of the pianist, which is what Chopin would have wanted.
Excellent. One of the best Hammerklavier interpretations…
