More work on the turbo d15b7
มุมมอง 1546 ปีที่แล้ว
Just an walk around on some of the things I've done to my 92 civic with a boosted d15b7
D15b7 turbo build first start
มุมมอง 1K7 ปีที่แล้ว
The charge piping isn't hooked up yet I still need to bend a pipe to go from the turbo to the intercooler. But test start no leaks
91 escort no compression? No start
มุมมอง 1277 ปีที่แล้ว
Bought this car might have no compression? Bag headgasket? Maybe it jumped the timing
Everyday after work, one guy has this little civic lol .. it’s fast but, I smoke him everytime 🔥. I have the 2015 SHO!!!!
Stock ecu?
Hondata s300 v2
Oh yeah just seen the plates thats where i am and just boosted mine gotta find some where to tune. Was it cheap?
You said tacoma?
Hey I was wondering if your interested in selling some parts from your project here, my brother and I are working ona similar build!! Let me know please!!
that intro is amazing
Sounds good! Did you keep the resonators?
Just the muffler delete still have cats and resonators. After a while of drive like this it started popping more
broke'nboosted Appreciate that, I think I’ll be running the same set up. Any noticeable power increase or throttle response?
@@daleyarborough none at all and but it sounds amazing with no drone. If you leave the mufflers delete the cats it will spoil quicker but you'll need a tune. I like gearhead tuning. The ford Taurus sho owners club page on fb is a great place for info. There's always on epperson who's done anything there is to do it
broke'nboosted You sound like you’re on the page; I’m on the Taurus SHO & Ecoboost SHO pages. I’m working on swapping a 351 into my SN95 but want to give the daily a little attention too.
@@daleyarborough yes I am and the page I'm on has alot more info on it. I'm 60% sure the page you're on was started by a few people that split off the one I'm on. I hope that you're using fuel injection on that 351 so you can run some boost! Lol
How many lbs of boost are you running
Daily 5psi but sometimes I turn it up to 8psi or 10
What size turbo are you running
It's a Ebay t3/t4 50 trim turbo
Oh ok thanks and how long did this set up last and are you tuned or have any mods to the motor
@@Sunny-tu3xj stock motor and I've put over 100k miles and it still runs strong. Smokes a little because valve seals tho
@@Sunny-tu3xj and I'm running hondata s300
What size motor and how’s it holding up
How many pounds and was it worth it?
Beau Patterson Tottally worth it and I was running 8 psi but now I'm down to 5 psi with hondata and trying to get it dialed in. But totally worth it. Love it and it takes it like a champ ill add a new video soon
lets see the engine bay, what kit did you use
Green Goblin. Check my channel I just owe plotted a new video with an update with all the information of what I've done to it specifically for you and why you asked the D16 Z6 can hold a lot more power than a D15 can out in the D15 at 8 about 200 horsepower is when the rod snapped the D16 holds a little more and then it's a lot easier to get aftermarket Forge parts for it so it'd be a lot easier to Turbo
Already I apologize for the typos and grammatical errors I'm using the voice to text feature on my phone because I'm driving
Green Goblin also check out boostedboiz channel they have a couple D16 Z6 all wheel drive wagons with what I believe to be over 400 horsepower
im gonna turbo my d16z6 its all stock, are you planning on getting a p28 ecu from ebay or something to get it able to be tuned?
I'm running Hondata full ecu
i was going to be shocked if he beat you. Throw a tune (Unleashed Tune from Torrie) and you would have been gone from the get go.
Joe Rodriguez nahh he needs an ssi tune, way better then unleashes lol
Joe Rodriguez not saying unleashed wouldn't get the job done, but ssi doesn't settle for second place ;)
you might wanna change the title. that's an 8th gen si
That's an 8th gen si :)
