Fire Training Structures (FTS) has been designing, fabricating, and delivering training structures worldwide since 2005.
Customized Training Solutions To Meet The Specific Needs Of Fire Service Professionals.
FTS maintains a 90,000 square foot fabrication facility and employs a team of approximately 40 Project Managers, Engineers, Fabricators, Certified Welders, Electricians, and Carpenters.
Fire Training Structures (FTS) utilizes a Pre-Engineered and Prefabricated solution methodology. To achieve this objective, training simulators incorporate the use of ISO Freight Containers (a.k.a shipping containers). As active committee members, all simulators designed, fabricated, and delivered by FTS will be NFPA 1402 “Standard on Facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props” compliant.

Great to see Heard County investing in such a valuable training resource! These container-based fire simulators are an excellent way for firefighters to hone their skills in realistic scenarios. The ability to conduct repeated Class A live fire training will definitely help local departments maintain readiness and improve their capabilities. Awesome! So glad these firefighters have access to such a state-of-the-art training tool. The Flashover simulator looks intense - definitely gives them a realistic experience for those critical live-fire situations. If I were a firefighter, I'd want to train in that.
I and my Wife have been in the upper Larger unit as part of a 6 week Citizen Fire Academy program the county does. It was a great program and we both needed to go through it. Forsyth County has some great Fire Fighters that helped save a lot of our possessions in 2010 when our house caught fire.
I like how complex the structure is.
That structure looks like a perfect place to train.

Thanks FTS for a great facility. We are very happy and proud of the final result. In the few short months we had training, our FFs have enjoyed the many evolutions.
