Nice update of your ‘live diary’ captains log. Take care, enjoy hosting the future by unlearning capitalisms words and behaviours while re-learning family, place and culture.

toxic loans (no longer in our language model) alongside toxic people (bullying) leadership 'assumes' the ignorance, in order to deliver the words of ambiguity. (derivatives)

Asking: What would happen if everyone ded what I'm about to do? Asking: Is this "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" or Molochian "Do unto others before others do unto you" ?

Makes sense to identify key players and exactly how to influence them in their language. But what would that look like with Sam Altman, for instance? I think many people are stuck in their modus operandi and harder to change than we think - we are not rational all the time.

History has shown that REVOLUTION where wealthy and powerful people die, and their assets seized and redistributed is an effective means of disrupting corruption. Complacency is one of the most evil human conditions.

Good commentary. Thanks. My comment is this: human beings created the problems we now face. Until human beings fix themselves we have no future that is not just a new version of our past. This is never discussed because, I imagine, no one knows what to change or how. So, we just push ahead with work-around (i.e. incomplete) solutions that create yet more problems. The existential crisis we now face is the requisite rite of passage for such a change in the collective human psyche. The solutions we seek are mostly ways to avoid this personal inner crisis and thus the actual solution. That’s the risk. Most people do not know how to survive this rite of passage that is already here. Those who do survive will, perhaps, be sufficiently humbled to be able to learn a new way of being in the world. Perhaps. Take care. Keep yourself in good health and good humor.

It is not a "thing" that can be solved or accomplished by a group of experts.

The type of brainstorming model that you're referencing reminds me of how the VHS player was invented - the technology itself is essentially a physically impossible process, but over several decades and via rotating teams of dedicated specialists at JVC the medium was invented - VHS of course brings us to disc and hard drive technologies which are light years away from film. If this process to achieve the impossible can be done for something as trivial as film, it should and must be replicated for all Life to thrive.

Probably a bit out of my depth here but came across your channel and figured I would share some thoughts. 1. It sad to me the world my kids live in compared to the world I grew up in. Many of these issues we have been aware of for decades, but all that time has been spent either debating if they were real issues or on what we should do or worse, just ignoring them.. Any solutions that have been presented seem to be just to give the appearance that we are doing something. If we are looking around us it is pretty see that we have not really done anything, and we are running out of time to be able to do it. 2. Those that could affect the most change only have interest in looking out for themselves and have little to no worry of what the world will be when they are no longer around. First, we need to come together to assess where we are at and understand that it is likely any effects of the change, we work towards won’t be seen in our lifetimes. We need to look to the future and those that will come after us. We all need to be invested and focused. 3. I big part of this issue is that it is hard for people to feel like they can even have an impact on things. I think that the previous point plays a big part in this. While maybe one person can’t make a noticeable, effective difference. What can 10 people, 100 people, 1000 people do? There is no magic bullet here. 4. and 5. There is not a magic wand we can wave to fix thing it is going to take work. We must be thoughtful and purposeful but be willing to be wrong, to do what needs to be done. I think if you look at those of real power, both in History and Fiction most did not think they were the villain in their stories. Again, I think there is where point of where we need peak collaboration to help focus the powerful, effective doers. It is hard to be truly aware of the state of things and not feel the weight of it. Especially if you are directly, negatively affected by what is going on. It can be hard to get past that. I think it can be variable on how to approach it. I get the idea of being “loose” about things, just “winging” in my writing and running games works great, but when it comes to “serious” things, like education I become very serious and hyper focused. But the main thing is, we can hide our head in the sand, but we also can’t let the weight of the situation prevent us from acting. Sometimes it just easier to ignore things, but as you point out, it is going to come for us at some point.
