Blue seats would have been a better interior.
I factory ordered a new 1977 Z28 in this same colour, same brown/gold stripes, 4 speed. I tried to order a blue interior using a colour override option even though only black, white and saddle interiors were the offered in a Z28 that year. Other colours were available in non-Z28’s. The factory rejected it so I went with the saddle Type LT interior. The car has the base saddle/black interior. Great car

Awesome vehicle. May I make a correction? Thaz an R10 because in 87, the C/K series were dropped & renamed R/V series. The reason for the name change was to make a distinction between those square body models & the upcoming next generation C/K series pickups which were the OBSs for the 88 model year because both of those body designs were going to be in production at the same time which lasted up through 91. The gasoline fuel injected motor also makes that red pickup unique because 87 was the first year for gas fuel injected motors.
Thanks for the info. I checked the tag of the vehicle at Cassill Motors it did showed it was a C10.
@ThisDudelikesRacingEtc2023 those generation Chev & GMC fullsize pickups & SUVs were produced from 73 - 91 except they stopped producing the half ton & three quarter ton plain cab pickups in 87, & stopped producing the one ton plain cab pickups in 89.

The old Chevy vs ford debate. engine builders laugh at people like that. Why is it OK to put a 9" in anything but not a Chevy in a car that is not original ford? How is it OK to put any fiberglass body on a Funny Car when they all run Replicas of the Chrysler hemi?

There are many reasons why the good old SBC is used.

@@sergeantmasson3669 Better than what? If they were shit they wouldn't be used so much. Just like the LS engines. Personally, I would not put a Chevy engine in a Ford. My 55F100 has a nice SBF 302. It was more expensive and a lot more trouble but hey, it's a Ford and needs a Ford motor.
@@arch3088 AGAIN, only because they're cheap and plentiful. Proven fact, a SBF has more reliability/longevity than a SBC. BTW, I'm a 50+ years master level factory certified auto/truck tech. 40 years at the largest Ford dealership in my state.
@@sergeantmasson3669 Whatever Dude. I am a retired professional tech myself. Both are good engines and will last pretty equal if maintained the same. You prefer Fords. Fine.
