Sometimes the best ideas come from asking “What if?” Come play in the kitchen with me as I take traditional Vietnamese Bahn Mi sandwich components and transform them into a wildly delicious stuffing that will have your family & friends saying “Wait, this is GENIUS”
Whether it’s Thanksgiving dinner or a Friendsgiving party, you’ll be crowned Potluck Hero for bringing the most unique stuffing recipe inspired by all the things you love about Vietnamese Bahn Mi.

**Ingredients**
Serves 4
- 2 Vietnamese or French baguettes
- 2-3 tbsp of Vietnamese pâté (homemade or store-bought)
- 2-3 tbsp of Vietnamese mayo (homemade or store-bought)
- 3/4 cup of diced carrots
- 1/2 cup of daikon (white radish/lobok)
- 2 whole shallots, sliced
- 2 green onions, sliced (separate white and green parts)
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb crispy pork belly, chop meat & skin (set crispy skin aside)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp Maggi seasoning or soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 stick unsalted butter (about 7-8 tbsp)
- 1 tsp salt, adjust to preferred taste
- 3/4 cup(ish) of sriracha mayo, brush as “egg wash”
- 9" oven safe pie dish or similar
**Garnish:**
- Crispy pork skin
- Green onion (reserved green parts)
- Cilantro stems (to taste)
- Optional: chili peppers (to taste)

Im making a grilled chicken Bahn mi for a house party...should I add the pate to the baguette , as anyways I will be soaking the chicken in fish sauce,soy,etc before grilling it.
Toronto Banh Mi massive has come here for this moment on this day... and now we blast over to Nations to get what is needed to create this culinary miracle.
Any tips on next day, reheating to get the baguette crispy again? Made your pate and it was so yummy! Case wait to accompany with this.

Just saying chicken liver makes my wife and daughter gag. That’s ok, when I buy chicken livers half gets cooked for me. (I’ve never used fish sauce with my chicken livers but my next batch definitely going to try it).). The other half gets cooked with sweet potatoes and brown rice for my dog. I have a smart boy! He knows what’s good!

I’ve never run my airfryer more than 20 mins. 40 minutes?!!!
hahah yup! the point of this is to cook it on LOW heat for a long time to dry out the skin and slow cook the pork on the inside. Then cranked up at the end to crisp up the skin!

Did you even watch the video? She mentioned how Vietnam was a French colony. Also, I'm pretty the traditional French pate recipe doesn't use fish sauce.
a) yes it is Vietnamese. b) Vietnam was colonized by the French.
You act like the French never colonized anyone. The French also changed our written characters from Chinese to what Vietnamese is now. Not going to lie, much easier system to learn.
