Must of been a once in a lifetime event to be flooded this bad in Buntingford. When we was flooded last summer in Standon and Puckeridge it was the worst ive seen in that area but didnt see how that same storm affected Buntingford. I bet it wasnt anywhere near this bad. Ware high street was under water too but not like this maybe 4 to 5 inches.

Was they the same year and watched the x mas episode being filmed and met alot of the BBC crew and cast and even managed to be in one of the schenes only seems like yesterday great memories

I lived in keepers cottage form the age of 7 to 15 good times

Though I didn't get to meet any cast members, I spent 5 wonderful days in Holmfirth, and even did the LOTSM tour, in an old touring jalopy. It was great fun to eat at Ivy's cafe. Looks as though the table cloths are the same from 1989 until I went in 2011 or 2012. What a magical place full of the most hospitable people! It's a place covered in natural beauty! Hope to return to Holmfirth one day, before I'm "past it".
