@@tcgdiscussions2413 looking forward. Tried your list... so far the best. However in some cases, i found in situations where i didn't have lucci in trash late in the game, also against agro, sometimes i bricked... maybe i didn't operate the list optimally

it was mentionned big bodies and kaido that removes target that are protected by Sabo (e.g. swing and -1 with leader and play Kaido to trash a Moria )

@@tcgdiscussions2413 I played no joke about 10 games on Sim play variety of decks and I did very bad. The lucci list I’m running I just went 4-1 with it at locals today. This list is just not for me I believe

Its good but it requires more cards. And it is not searchable. Additionally, it is good in other match-ups that is not black. And if your opponent is playing sabo after they jack, you can just counter sabo and be fine to protect your gecko play.

@@davidogburn5374 it is, but win rates don’t lie regardless, and top 100 or not. I know players up there that say Zoro is legit dominant. So it’s a thing of breaking down what happens you know? Analysis of the match ups. It’s pretty clear why the win rates would be what they would be in my opinion if you stop and think about it. Take Zoro, it’s easy to play, spams the most in the meta if everything is working right, and can afford in most of its match ups to make the least mistakes on its game plan. If it draws right, it removing its board is almost meaningless because the small bodies are hand size reducers and bait for it’s late game cards that with low counter just win. Get them to zero and Jambe or cards like dragon consecutively just win. He is not able to be raced, and the slower decks flat fold to him. Decks who strategize around taking its own life for advantage, Pluffy and Kalgara play into his hands. And 4 life leaders looking to control the game get eaten alive. Taking stock that top players who have been on Zoro since set one or know how to pilot aggro well, creates a scenario where you can easily see why it’s winning and why it would be a force. This is basically belo Betty on crack with a 5 life leader that has a better cheat body out system with low cost. And he can easily win at 5 life meaning the game was never close. You literally have board wipe and reduce his hand size before you can even go at his life. Anyone who’s played against this or plays the deck as constructed can easily see how everything above is a true statement while having very positive match ups into a lot of meta. That’s why I stressed he was tier 1 initially and I can give you this same breakdown with every deck on that top ten. Win rates like you said before aren’t indicative of the whole picture given sample size. However, that’s what win percentage is for. Factor both you get a clearer picture and all you gotta do is ask why.

@@romansalud5669 problem is, most of the time it doesn’t matter due to incoming high cost cards. You also have to see the pieces, otherwise you’re not really winning. Your KO is just removing cards to make way for the late game.

No. 3 Cost Brook while a powerful card is a lack luster card that we are looking to play in the early game. While it can be good off a Moria play as an alternative to Lucci. Jack is just far better in a number of ways. The card in a lot of ways to play in the early game is too slow. If you spend 3 don on your turn to play it, it doesn't do anything. Makes your lead a 5 k swing and you easily dispatch the card with counter removal. At 4 don your best to play a blocker like Rebecca or Kalifla in order to filter hand or add back a 2k after you counter out early. This straight up gives Lucci consistent defense while helping us transition to the late game where we want to be. At no point does brook 3c fit the bill for that strategy. 6c brook while good for the trash effect really doesn't do much to BY Luffy. Zombie would be better but it is too slow and it is another non counter card. It is okay into nami. And good for sure if your opponent counter sabos. But at the end of the day, 6c Brook is a lack luster understated card. 6 for 6 trash a 4 or less can be good. But in the mirror, its just as easily outed. Against the harder match ups, Zoro, ST14 Luffy, and BY it just outright under preforms. The 6 don can be better spend playing cards that hyper impact your gameplan such as Sabo, Rebecca, Ice age Lucci, and so on or swinging out while playing a blocker. You virtually don't need the trash effect cause trashing Sabo in BY doesn't really change what they do. At no point can you commit to spending 6 don to trash a blocker and go for game. unless it is their only blocker and they have no cards in hand and you have a high attacker to swing 13 off Gecko or Issho to really seal the deal. It is kinda an understated card for what its effect is. And all while providing only 6k power.

Etremely and 3c brook is not needed anymore. Jack basically is the better gameplay option for the effect and it was redundant while the card was underpreforming anyway. It really doesn't have high impact except if it sticks for the extra reduction. But it honestly is underwhelming if you commit to a play of only a brook or something else in the early game. Is best played off of Moria. And even in that line generally just dies either to attack or is easily removed. It is super terrible into other match-ups that youre not favored into except Zoro. Of which he still really doesn't do enough. Jack is just the better card to play.

Fine. Not really needed. Jack helps a lot with reduction to KO and there is enough for your opponent to worry about that the extra 2k isn't needed.

@@naytny5819 yeah, kata overly relies on triggers and the gameplan can’t be counted on. Take what Katas Goal is and how slow it is, Pudding thrives on playing that same plan besides sacking people with triggers. And on proper curve is playing big mom 2x by the time you’re playing one. She also doesn’t need to attack life with her bodies. So she can starve out and play big mom to trash life and those triggers. I have played this over and over the other day. Kata gets creamed on top of other bad match ups in the meta.

That’s what I wanna know. I tried zoro and just couldn’t consistently win. 5-7k bodies get ko’d and removed to easily in this meta.

@@ConclavioTheWayOut so certain decks just pressure you down and can do so easily by meeting your leader dragon while offensively strong doesn’t defend me against wide boards. It’s essentially a worse 9 beard. So I play more defense with more blockers and allow my offense to build and rely heavily on Kid Newgate. If not blocker up. But dragon is essentially saying against decks like Reiju or Doffy pressure me down. Where as if I’m 8-9k they literally can’t play more cards n swing. Dragon is also hyper weak to Bonnie. Which is super popular this next meta. She essentially invalidates either swing and if the Zoro before you do that or kid, you basically lose to crack back.

And also what about rush dragon?

@@calvinxd8984 aggro and tall as possible. She crumbles to your big bodies. Save Shanks for Zoro. You need to see ramp early to get where you need to go. Does matter if she has don ip to tap a leader she can’t reach.
