I'm going to look into making play-along tabs. If I can figure out how to set it up without adding too much extra time to my editing work flow, then I'll start doing those going forward, and probably circle around and re-release play-along versions of my older covers.

I've got it transcribed, but I'm not quite ready to cover it yet. The slap parts are pretty tough, but I'll get there.

@ yeah it seems hard that’s probably why it wounds sounds so good and there’s no covers on youtube! do you just find the bass by ear or?

@@tinboy2862 I use a program called RipX to solo out the bass part. It makes it a lot easier to hear and transcribe the parts, but it's far from perfect. It's really bad at picking out slap bass parts since they're so percussive, so I end up doing those mostly by ear.

That's a tough one. There's a lot of good options to choose from, and if you asked me again tomorrow I'd probably have a different answer. I'm gonna go with Ku-Ru-Ku-Ru Cruller by Aqours. That bass line is groovin' for sure.

I'd definitely recommend going to a guitar center or other local music stores to try before you buy if you can. Also gives you the option of getting a setup done at the store. I've bought basses online before, and even off of Amazon, and you can still get a good bass that way, but if it doesn't play how you want out of the box, you either have to do the setup yourself or bring it into a store anyways. I haven't had any major issues with buying online and ending up with a bass with serious defects or shipping damage, but it can happen.

@@tinboy2862 That one I bought online directly from Ernie Ball Music Man. Took them like 3 months to build it and ship it out.

I think I actually found a tab for this song somewhere on TH-cam. For a lot of songs, I end up transcribing the bass part myself, but if I can find an accurate tab online, it saves me the trouble.

@@tinboy2862 Haven't done Mijuku yet, but it's on my list, so I'll get to it sooner or later. Definitely a song with some good bass in it.

Hey there, hope you're enjoying learning bass. I use RipX DAW to isolate and transcribe bass parts, as well as to remove the bass from the track when recording covers.

Thanks! I isolate the bass part using RipX DAW then transcribe it from there using Guitar Pro 5 for the tabs.
