Predicting EVERY MLS Team's 2023 Player of the Season
It's either Cucho or Evander. Messi and Suarez take votes away from each other, and Benteke plays for a bad DC United side. Portland has 3 guys with 14 goals, but none of that happens unless Evander is unlocked in Phil Neville's attack. Evander's 14 assists are the real gold. But nobody is as important to their team as Cucho is to Columbus. Cucho is the figure head for everything Wilfried Nancy is doing in Columbus
Put some music in the background
Nope, MLS has a playoff, that's the American way ... MLS will never succeed pretending to be like Europe... Americans have to embrace what makes US culture different...
LMAO😂
Plsss make more video, your content is awsome😢
Riqiu puig has been on fire I think he has a good chance
Underrated video.
LFG!
Great video Justin 🔥🔥🔥
Two from the Gary's... I'll take it! 🧡💙
Wait how many MLS cups do they have? I dont see any stars on that crest🧐
I don't believe Inter Miami being in 3rd. That Team were so Gassed against RSL. So it'll be interesting how they'll Fair against LA Galaxy. Also if any of rhe Barça Four (Especially Messi) gets injured then that could send them to at least 5th-7th.
Terrible takes
Nice list! If we're looking for a "flaw" of Columbus which might prevent them from taking the shield, it's their away form. Only four wins away last season. Not sure why, but their home form was good enough to keep them in third.
Great list Justin - love the acknowledgement that the Rapids had a great offseason, and good reasons as to why you chose them 12th. Fair play - Riccardo
If Miami manages to add Franco Escobar along with new signing Federico Redondo, they will have enough to seriously compete for everything. On paper this is the best team in MLS history and not just because of Messi and his buddies. Redondo would have arguably been the biggest signing of the off-season for almost every MLS team.
With Escobar, they'll definitely compete for highest yellow card accumulation. But, he's a relatively solid defender.
@@brettmendell4496Compared to the current defenders, this guy is a superstar. Inter's defense sucks big time
I love that MLS media is mostly calling for a regression for St. Louis CITY. Just another chance to prove everyone wrong.

Bürki did so good, I was hoping our Charlotte FC’s Kahlina could win GOTY but definitely not after Bürkis performances Great video man!
Kahlina had a great year too, but yeah, Burki was just unbeatable for GOTY.
@@upper90officialburki is just the best at ANYTHING you say but penalties💀
what is Wagner's Racial Slur / 90 statistic?
Can you make a u23 version? Or a strictly American one?
I recently made a video counting down my MLS 22 under 22 which I think will suit what you're looking for. Double the players, double the fun!
this is the same guy that said Peter Vermes should get sacked. Skc is now moving on in the playoffs after beating St. Louis#🤦 this guy is funny ⬆️
He definitely proved me wrong! Incredible job he's done turning SKC around after Pulido and Kinda returned.
You mentioned that Pat Noonan was hired without any previous head coach experience, but you mention that FC Cincinnati also hired Domonic Kinnear and Kenny Arena as assistants. Both having considerable experience and have made a big impact. Second, Roman Celentano was not bought in as the #1 keeper. That was Alec Kann, who was bought in from Atlanta. He was the starter and suffered a bad injury, that gave Celentanto his chance. He kept his place after Kann recovered.
You've clearly not watched FC Cincinnati when Pinto starts for Acosta. Great analysis. But you are wrong. Acosta is MVP. 😁
MLS literally just give the MVP to the player with the most goals & assists. They really don't care about the rest & thats crazy cause there's more to players than goals & assists. This makes it impossible for goalies, defenders or midfielders to ever win an MVP award cause they will never get as many goals & assists as attackers do😢. Sad reality
Winners know how to hire winners. I only hope they stay and make FC Cincinnati a major player from now on.
Bradley Carnell has to win. What he did this year with STL SC was sensational. I mean he won the freakin conference in his first year
It has to be Carnell with how cohesive the team played right from the get go. That's great coaching
If Bradley Carnell doesn't win a scandal for sure happened.
Noonan 100% ... 3x spoons to Shield winners? Please.
I personally disagree, the Supporters Shield is not as important as the Cup because of the issue you brought up at the end: the schedule isn't balanced. Some teams will play others twice or even three times in a season, while others may not ever meet even once in a single season. Yes, the geographical constraints make a balanced schedule akin to the European leagues next to impossible, and because of that I feel like it actually makes the Supporters Shield the most pointless trophy in the league. Yes, Cincinnati had a really good year winning the shield, but would they have reached that pinnacle if they played St. Louis more than once? Or if they played LAFC at all? Would Minnesota have gotten higher in the standings if they played Miami instead of Orlando? Or could Houston have lost and fallen further if they played Nashville instead of Columbus? There are too many "what if" scenarios that leave holes in the the overarching importance of the shield. Yes, consistent form throughout the entire season matters, but so does the quality and form of your opponents.
I get the criticism that the lack of a balanced schedule (as best as one can balance it) is a mark against the Supporter's Shield. That said, the MLS Cup has nothing close to balance and has way more random elements. The real argument is traditional soccer versus American mentality of crowning a champion at the end. To me we have a hybrid system and enjoy both. I still think the MLS Cup holds the sway over general perception and prestige. Winning the shield is almost odd sensation as an American. My club, Cincinnati, won it with three matches to spare. We essentially won it with a great run way back roughly 25-50% through the season. Of course that night in Toronto clinching it was great, but it was a little odd we celebrated it at home the next match after a loss as the final matches dont impact the race. Ultimately I hope we win both as sure if we don't plenty of fans will still call it a disappointment.

It's weird how the MLS cup is seen as the "main" trophy when it theoretically isn't
Yeah I mean the supporters shield is literally for the best performing team in the league
Great behind the scenes tour, definitely a stadium I need to add to the list! Thank you so much for sharing! Big fan of your work and channel, definitely going to subscribe and follow your journey! 🙂
