Hurricane Ida: 1 Year Later | South Terrebonne High School
Awesome lil doc on such a sweet place. I loved it too.. We used to run out of the pool area up to the arcade games that were nearly outside, sink a quarter in,and feel the occasional shock of the control panel screws!😅 Def a missed place..
🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Lousiana is very hot & humid
*place ❤
I was born in 1991 so i was born in the right eara for this plave ❤
I miss Waterland USA i went there growing up as a kid For summer day camp They never opened back up sadly but all the stuff is still there even after all these hurricanes
That movie theater floor was SO STICKY and it was only a dollar to see a movie Again im a 90s child Born and Raised here in Houma La and im still here ❤
Thats my mall i believe and it doesnt look like that anymore Its just about a ghost town on one half of the mall now and I HATE IT.
I grew up down grand bayou street❤ most beautiful place on earth in my opinion
Great upload hope to be back there soon. Walked it through the late 90s and early 2000s.
OMG thank you for making this!!!
love ur viedos, keep goingh!
On the gulf side, the beach looks like it is actually building up behind the rocks. Why isn't that being done along the whole island by now ?
That's awesome ! I wish more people would build using those styles and colors. It wouldn't be hard to do, especially now, since most of the Island is basically starting over from scratch. The last time I was there, a lot of things looked kind of dull.
We'll make it. One day at a time. We're Cajun for a reason 💪
It is good to hear they aren’t slowing down. Good for them and good for Grand Isle. Thank you for posting.
Enjoyed this video. The more we can all do to support the recovery of Grand Isle the better! I’m hoping you will be willing to share my video attached below. I just spent 16 days in Grand Isle volunteer working at three locations - averaging close to 10 hours a day!! It was a GREAT, fulfilling and challenging experience. Here’s the video - a bit long, but hopefully full of info, insight, inspiration and an idea of the remarkable progress the people of Grand Isle have already made!! Thanks for any sharing. Volunteer Work Trip in Grand Isle, Louisiana. 15 Days Non-Stop!! th-cam.com/video/8KnsXCxWaxc/w-d-xo.html
Truly amazing. Honest Reconciliation and open healing is the only way to truly heal this country of ours that is so great and yet so bruised by the sins its committed and continues to commit. I truly believe we can make the world a loving place but we cannot ignore the pain of our human family and we cannot ignore someone else's pain simply because its uncomfortable to recognize it.
Excelente así se ven mejor los malditos cocodrilos ya que yo soy la única que está en contra de ellos
That was a great, short video. Hoping you have more ahead! Best place on Earth!!! Praying for Grand Isle and it’s people every day. I will be down there for 2 weeks starting March 25 to offer free volunteer work at the marinas and an RV park. Hope to be of some help. They will come back strong!! Ps… you might like some of my past videos kayak fishing and catching tons of trout from there. Last trip was August 11… just 3 weeks before Ida. Such a terrible storm. Hope the storms stay away this year. Thanks for the good video.
This sounds great! Let us know if you’d like to share your videos, we’d love to post them on our Facebook and Instagram pages!
@@gardevoirci Thanks for the reply and offer to post my videos. I will send a long to two of my favorites… May of 2021 just next to BridgeSide Marina where I am volunteer working currently (day 6 of 2 weeks!) - Grand Isle ROCKS!!! - Louisiana Speckled Trout Fishing - May 27, 2021 th-cam.com/video/DfX4CFVGrdU/w-d-xo.html And my most recent Grand Isle video from August 2021 (just 2+ weeks before Ida)… August 2021-3.5 Days in Grand Isle, Louisiana-A Fishing Summary th-cam.com/video/zpeWCnFOHx0/w-d-xo.html Thanks a lot for sharing. I will be watching your videos for sure!! Mark
wtf company take the alligator meat? to do what? I hope will end up in china not in US groceries.
Chinese,Japanese, Korean, Phillipino, Indonesia, Laos, Mangolia..........they all eat it....sucks!
I’m training for Ironman Texas 2022 and I watched the 2017 video for that race. The end of that video has very inspirational music and focuses on an athlete who’s bib name is Lynette - is this the same person? It’s very uplifting to see her cross the finish line!
Do you keep the pith?
the pith on mandarins is not bitter, so yes.
If you trace almost every civilizations history you will see they made progress except for Africans. The Houma Indians have not made any attempt to adapt or embrace education as a whole. They are screwed. Study British history, before the Roman invasions they were among the least developed people in the world. The Romans brought in education, technology, etc and the British with that became a world superpower. Stop the victim mentality and control your destiny.
