Cool detail: the time it takes between when you pull the trigger to shoot the portal, and when you see it open is exactly the time it would take in real-life for a beam of light to travel to the moon and back

The white paint for the portal walls are made from moon dust

When you are in the second part of the story going through the old aperature science labs they tell you through the pre recorded tapes playing over the speaker system that the portals work on moon dust. The white platforms that you place the portals onto are all made of moon dust.

My thoughts exactly at this part. "No... no POSSIBLE way.........."..... **pulls the trigger**
