Hi thanks for watching and commenting Fastest lap in D-MAX is 106.4 Maybe did slow down too much but it was my early days karting so doing what I was told !!😅 I was definitely lighter then him but I wouldn’t say by much I met him after so maybe was just 5/7 kg lighter unnoticeable difference really I think Maybe I’ll meet you at mk one day!!

@thegokarter8996 It's probably more of a in situation thing and I needed to be there 😅 I do racing down Bayford Meadows. Next race is Saturday 5th but I'm nursing a broken rib from my last race, so doubt I'll be fit enough to race 🥲

Hi yes have to brake at most of the turns ! Never seen blue flags at open kart races anywhere! Yes they do have seat liners ! Get down there you’ll enjoy it Thanks for watching 😊

Hi I can’t remember my fastest lap time in the sodi karts plus they upgraded them recently and I haven’t had a go !! In the D-MAX karts it’s a 66.3 done some time ago

Actually I’ve just today booked my self into the Dmax superchamps season 2 Milton Keynes😁 so looking forward to it ! So well done for getting back into karting again for me there’s nothing better! Hopefully will meet up at a race, I’m thinking of coming down sometime to sandown! Good luck with catching those 2 seconds, I have no doubt you will get there !

Coz teamsport and overall indoor gokarts are crap cant overtake at all witout hiting someone thats why im sticking to outdoor ones....real racing

@@surman1966 I agree!! I really only do outdoor, but I’m so Damm addicted to karting 😂 just do a bit of indoor for jokes !

There was a lot of bumping by everyone one, sometimes you get unlucky, so had to the right thing coz it did look like he was pointing at me! They need a better system to identify when there’s loads of karts together

It was a blast, when you’re fighting for the top positions it’s a rush like no other, I just love it! What’s the karts and tracks like around you ?

@@thegokarter8996 Actually I live near a great track that at one time had a very strong rental program. ( Trackhouse Motorplex, Formaly GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville NC) They just received a new fleet of CGR karts that are beautiful and will do 55mph. Wish they would do league races but Unfortunately the last couple of years they have ignored the league racers and mainly have focused on selling pizza. Those Daytona karts you are racing and the speed they do are awesome!!! I would love to come across one of those tracks one day.

Lots of pizza eaters I see !! That’s a shame !! sounds like a great karting track Daytona has even faster karts then the one in this video they are called D-MAX, now you would love them, they say they do around 70mph, shame they charge to much to use !!

Hi thanks for watching and your comment! 😊 some other people thought the same as you, but I can assure you that the kart on the inside had no contact with kart 16, he purposely steeredinto me! It’s ok had so much fun on that race, would have been nice to finish on the podium!

​@@Jasongilliar I wondered that too, but it sounds like a turbo hybrid, not a V8, but that could just be the low revs.

​@@thegreatstapleyyeah it sounds kinda like a modern car but the electric sound is Missing by the shifts, plus when it puls away the car begins a lil bit to scream, plus it has a high nose so yeah, probably with a modern livery

@@thegreatstapley yeah, plus it looks like it has infinity on the side of the car, or however you write that. The only car with that sponsor and a highnose would be the 2013 red bull, so its probably the 2013 red bull

😂 being it the final lap, I had to take that opportunity on p2, I think most people would of done! My issue with the other guy is that he’s just recovered of a spin and was a few laps behind, he had no reason to accelerate and steer in to me,he’s not racing me should off just let me by like what most if not all back markers did !!

Trust me he done it purposely, maybe it’s one that you had to be there to know! Anyhow it was a great race for me loved the chase 😊

Thank you😊 I was going a bit mad but I knew I had him, if I could keep up through the back markers and yellows! I agree, you get all sorts in these open races but most of these lot were proper hazardous ⚠️

😂 not really bro, I find it interesting to see other people’s take on it, maybe it one that you have to be there to know, or just understand karting!! 😂 in my view lapped karts shouldn’t be trying to battle with the front runners 😝

@@thegokarter8996 I get what you’re saying mate but calling someone a wanker is harsh considering the circumstances. Things happen quickly in racing as you know. Maybe he thought he was racing you? Maybe he was confused? Maybe he got pushed wider (likely) by the guy on his inside? Did you speak to him after? Because calling him a wanker and claiming he steered into you without much evidence (which you may be able to see but we cannot see because of the angle), feels very clickbaity, or you’ve just come to a conclusion without considering other possibilities. Having raced there myself several times I know how important that corner is and how quickly it narrows on exit. I’ve been pushed wide there a few times… it’s not usually intentional it’s just hard racing and people scrambling into the last corner. I also know that you cut across him pretty aggressively before the corner, which made compromised your entry and exit.

@@CTOTHER I understand what you’re saying, I come across many situations in the many races I go to !! But take it from me this was intentional!!! He definitely didn’t think he was racing me he was 5 laps down! He didn’t get pushed wider by the other guy coz the other guy was behind him no contact between them! The cut across wasn’t bad, gave him enough room in the inside, and was a tact to keep the other guy behind, he blatantly steers in me, you can see that from my input on the steering. @@thegokarter8996 That’s fair enough but again you’re just saying things like “take it from me it was intentional” but we don’t know you lol, so why would we? We’ve also seen one angle which show us somewhat of your side but not his. How do you know there was no contact between them? It’s not at all obvious that he steers into you or at least purposefully anyways. I’m not saying you’re the type of guy to say it if it wasn’t justified but it feels like you’ve come to this conclusion without much evidence. Many of us in the comments feel the same so surely that says something 😅 Yeah man, I’m at whilton mill a lot if you’re ever there 🏁

@@ChippyTimthey sometimes do gp60 on weekdays but always on Saturday and Sundays ! They have gp30 as well !! I may go this Sunday (looking at the weather) come down ? !!
