As a member of LPU (Lockpickers United), I promote Locksport and solving the difficulties of overcoming a lock by manipulation. I do not promote or persuade people to open locks that are in use and I do not do it myself. I condemn all attempts at illegal conduct and theft. Locksport is a form of fun and meditation that develops coordination and precision of manual skills very well.

WEST 941 picked and gutted
WEST 941 was considered in our circles for several years as a prototype that had never been developed. Nobody had seen it, you couldn't buy it anywhere, all that existed was a computer graphic of a three-dimensional cross-section where we saw a whole bunch of pins in five rows. It worked, and thanks to @LockDoc, who was the first to pick this lock in front of the camera, we got the chance to ta...

one of the worst cylinder ever made
@@INXOFORNITUREINOX Why do you think that?
@@yabende because it has only 6 active pins ( the passive pins on top and on the side are very easy to bypass, because they have the same dimension, and also the patent pins is always in the same position and it has only one length so it is possible to by pass just with an hole in the key) no mobile element in the key, no drilling protection in the cylinder, ( housing and rotor too)
Hey, do you think you can make a template of your lock picks that I could print out? I have a Bowly myself and I would really LOVE a crack at picking it
Hi, I don't think I have them anymore - I need to look, but I can help you. Find me on the LPU server on Discord, or on any of the lockpicker groups on FB

Is there a mechanical way to disassemble and reassemble this particular model (protec euro cylinder) or would disassembling it mean irreversible changes
@@icloudtrevor of course Man, I did that cutaway by myself from casual euro-profile cylinder
@ @ no no i mean you know how you key re key an abloy protec padlock by opening it and putting new disk in. Same with abloy protec mortise cylinder and abloy protec rim cylinder and abloy protec kik cylinder. But how do you properly disassemble to remove the disk if i want to take the disk from my abloy protec euro cylinder and put them into my abloy protec kik cylinder
Pozdrawiam serdecznie 🤜🤛

Hi yabende, fan (and recent subscriber) from Italy here :) I noticed you pick euro cylinders both with the bible oriented up or down in your videos. Do you chose the orientation based on the lock? Do you normally practice both styles?
@@carlofedericopauletti7473 Hi, greetings from Poland 🙂 I usually try to pick the cylinders in the orientation in which they can be installed in reality. It used to happen to me to pick as I was more comfortable, but for some time now I try not to do that - that is, to pick them as they are installed.
Awesome. I generally find it much easier when the bible is oriented up, although it's the opposite of what's most common in Europe...
Awesome that you got it unbricked 👍👍 And Well done picking it 👏👏 Great video 👍

Great job, impressive as always.
is it possible to turn the core fully after picking without bricking the lock?
@@joedhoe Yes, you can rotate the core 360°, you just need to protect the keyway from falling into it driver pins located inside the housing.

Nice tutorial and picking. I have one sitting in my naughty bucket but it is a complete lock, not just half, so unfortunately this technique will not work in my case :/
