Christ with all these stories about people disappearing off narrow mountain trails arent you a bit nervous about doing stuff like this? my lack of mobility would mean its an impossibilty.Wheres the greek dancing to?
Yes, but be careful. What they call a suite is just one large room. We had a corner room with nice views, but we paid an extra 8 Euro per night for this. Nice, heated swimming pool. Hope you enjoy it.
Was your room a deluxe junior suite?
Booked it direct with the hotel. Most of the accommodation is the same: living room, bedroom, bathroom. But some have crap balconies with no sun. If you book directly you can specify a room number with a decent balcony, also ask for a discount! We've enjoyed it. Best if luck, Terry Jones
I'm thinking about booking this hotel. I've seen some other videos of the hotel and the rooms look completely different. Do you remember what type of room you went for and where you booked it? Thanks
I would think it is now in the stage of the steel frame being erected. I think the noisy digging should be finished now. Hope you enjoy!
We are going to Las Marismas in July. Is the building work in full swing next door?
yes building work has been going since early this year. It will be ongoing for about 2 years. Apparently it's not too bad then you're there, in fact gets very few mentions on tripadvisor. There are a few facebook groups that have been really good for info, people have uploaded videos. We'll be there in August and not concerned about it in the slightest.

We stayed at this hotel in July 2016, a last minute booking and were fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite. Everything was great, food, poolside, close to rubicon marina and a free bus into town. Highly recommended
I was there last October - lovely hotel - that nice that we are booked to go back next week! Cannot wait - Margherita and the other cocktails on offer 🥰🥰

We took a package with Jet2, who arranged the transfer bus at the airport. Hope this helps

I am 79 years old, so qualify as an old fart! Don't forget, ski passes free for over 70's in Andorra. Hope you enjoy yourself

Cracking video. Tell me what time of year did u go it looks so peacefull and how long does the coach take from airport to Kavala.
Kavala airport is about 15km from the port of Keramoti, from which the ferry to Thassos goes. The bus takes about 20 minutes to the ferry point. The ferry takes about 40 minutes. We went in May, just before the main season begins. A lot of Romanians and Bulagrians come to Thassos by car in the summer months. Best regards, Alf Jones
