In situation where NECO asked you to fixed the mass W as 30g..which of course will not work for larger Valur of M from 70g..can we niow change the mass W to higher one ...agaist NECO rewuired Value?
@michaelkayode9912 I'm sure NECO cannot ask you to provide masses which cannot make the whole system stay balanced. Remember, the set of masses must be able to balance each other out.
Thank you so much sir🙂❤
For the guys who are saying the formula doesn't work for larger masses. The reason is that once the 30 g is fixed permanently, larger masses will tend to pull the mass upward. Hence, you can't find a balance point at the midpoint. I actually tried out the experiment with masses of 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250. They couldn't balance out. That was why I changed the masses to 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 on the real practical video.
Ok sir
My brother when you use big mass like 70g .. The formula won't work
@@SmilingFieldHockey-em7rm that's because if the mass is 70, it will pull the 30 g mass up. So, it won't work for 70 g. If the mass is greater than 30 g, 70 g will work
Thank you very much Sir I want to ask if the 30g you used to divide by 1000 and multipled by 10 to get your newton was an assumed figure?
@SundayEzeh-cs4nj it wasn't assumed. I first converted it kilogram by dividing by 1000 and then to newtons by multiplying by 10. It will still work even if you don't convert it. You can just leave the masses like that.
Me I don't understand what are you marking sir
@klassy_joanna maybe you can show it to someone who can explain it clearly to you. 😃

Sir i don't understand how you resolved that Tension to 2Tsin0(teta)
@@AmaechiJeffery check your physics textbooks on how to resolve vectors.
Thank you sir
But sir you readings are different form your previous video
It has to be. First of all, the length AC is not the same in both videos. Secondly, the manipulated values are more accurate.
Brilliant work. One more scenario you did not consider is the voltmeter across both the standard resistor and the constantan wire while in series.
That's true. Because of the time and length of the video. All what you can do when the voltmeter is connected across the series connection is just to add the two resistances to gether and then apply V = IR.
Voltmeter is much likely to be connected in parallel across the resistor in the circuit rather than being in series with the circuit.
@tunjiagbola4751 anything is possible.
good morning sir, i want to say a very big thank you sir, i am so grateful for ur effort to see that every student makes it into the tertiary institution, thank you very much sir
@@Vision20k good morning. Thanks for your kind words.
Thank you Sir, but i think the current for each length of wire has to be the same since the wire and the 2ohm resistor are arranged in series... From the theory resistors in series have the same current
@okoliepromise807 no. It's not necessarily so. Different resistances can be connected in series or parallel

God bless u sir you’re such a genius ❤❤
@@chijiokeemmanuel9265 I appreciate your comment. Thanks.
Well done sir... But i tried using a mass above 50...like 60 to get my angle, but i couldn't sir... I dont understand why😢😢
@tundeadeleye1000 of course, it won't work because a mass above taste would slide the 30 g mass up.
For it to work, the 30 g mass has to be higher.
@@yousciencelab5307 what can I do since neco gave 30g as the fixed mass. And the question might probably require the use of a larger mass. Is there any other formula I can use because when I tried the formula for the angle you gave,it was math error.... Is there any other formula for that sir??
@tundeadeleye1000 If the fixed mass is 30 g, then NECO would provide masses that will fall in the range where the formula will work. For example, if Neco gives masses like 40, 50, 70, 90, 110 or 130, it will be advisable to use 100 g as the fixed mass. If you use a smaller mass like 30, 40 or 50, it won't work. This is because, the bigger masses would just drag them up the pulley.
