Haven’t they learned yet? There is no substitution for Peter Weller. Man was born to play that role. They’ve already traveled down this path. RoboCop 3 was a train wreck. RoboCop The Series was just goofy and the animated series (Alpha Commando) wasn’t much better. The 2014 Remake lacked heart and soul. What was missing from all those installments (aside from decent writing)? Peter Weller. RoboCop: Rogue City is the closest we will ever get to the sequel we deserve as the story takes place between the second and third installments with Peter Weller reprising his role. Trying to push forward with another project without the involvement of Weller would be much akin to putting out another Back to the Future with someone else cast as Marty. They tried that while shooting the first film without Michael J. Fox and it just didn’t work.

Highly doubt it, WW was incredible grounded realistic tone and people absolutely loved the first one. Captain Marvel 1 was sandwiched in between the two biggest movies of all time and the with the false marketing of you have to see this to understand the final MCU movie, which was a complete lie. Wonder Woman stood on its own a prequel completely removed from the wider DCEU. No doubt Milly will crush it as Supergirl but regardless I won’t provide a penny towards Gunns DCU. His vile disgusting comments effectively making a mockery of child sex abuse turned my stomach and put me off the man for life, haven’t supported him since not about to now. But hope others enjoy his DCU.
