In 2012, a joint research team from the University of Illinois in the U.S. and the University of British Columbia in Canada published findings that white noise enhances creativity. Additionally, a study conducted at Soongsil University in Korea found that middle school students who listened to white noise while memorizing English words showed a 35% improvement in memory.
White noise improves sleep quality, has positive effects on mental health, increases alpha waves produced in a calm psychological state, and decreases beta waves that appear when feeling anxious.
