Craig Chaquico, mispronouncing "nuclear" as "nu-cu-lar" fifteen years before George W Bush, LOL
Leave in the performances !
I remember seeing the greg kihn band in the 80s at the Old Waldorf about 30 times. Such incredible shows....
Thank you for this! ♥ I so appreciate Greg Kihn as a musician, entertainer, and downright good guy from all I can tell. Got to meet him in late 1998 and he more than lived up to my high expectations. So great to hear the wonderful comments from drummer Larry Lynch, another fave of mine. Peace and love as Ringo would say. RIP Greg!!! 🎸👊
Notice after he dipped the fruit pie in the onion dip he took a bit of the part that didn't have the dip. Now I'm wondering if he ever actually ate the part with the dip on it. 1:14
Great interview, it's a shame that at the end, with ALL the back catalogue that Jon has with YES or as a solo artist you decided to chose a poor and obscure not Jon version of a YES song!
Nice. Interesting to see you finished the interview with jon davidson singing - not jon anderson
*sigh* Being Gen Z, I feel like I’ve missed so much!
What a cutey 😻🫶 i love Al, id sell my left leg to be there with Al 😞😞
Jon Confused Patrick with Igor I'm 53....getting old is gonna SUCK

Just saw my 199th show in philly last week!!
El Presidente Mimi it is.
Their baby went on to be a kung-fu golf champion.
I like the idea of 2 random people out there today who had a surreal junkfood dinner with weird al before I was even born.
This drove him to veganism.
I was super bust around that time......being not born for another two years. 😄
What hell fire for who?
Two? You wish! Joke on who?
1:15 There was some fly flying around the popcorn in sour cream!
This is awesome! Do you have any other Weird Al footage in your archives?
That's pretty much it, we only did one tv show together. TH-cam wont let us play the videos we ran on the show due to copyright issues.
IT IS ORIGINAL!!!!!
I guess that was the precursor to the twinkie sandwich
Twinkie Weiner sandwich
He almost sounds like Shaggy lol
wholesome af
i like this guy
I came in third in that contest. Still have his first two albums that I won and the T-shirt that Al signed after the concert. One of my greatest achievements was making him laugh when he came out and I said, "That's not Prince!"
@@that80sdude50 A lady doesn't reveal her age. So it's a good thing I'm a man. I'm 55.
Thanks for sharing your story, Jon! You lucky guy, you! My uncle won tickets to the Vancouver premiere of UHF. I got a poster, a spatula and was interview by a radio station asking me what I thought of the movie. And I was absolutely thrilled!
Happy to hear that, i would like to meet Thomas Bangalter to say to him "I started djing with vinyls because of you", gonna find him 🤣
yeah and then You wake up
On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, check out Al's "Lame claim to fame" music video.
Look at that bag of chips! They're literally half the size now, and they're only half-full, the other half being air. Ridiculous! The 80s were awesome.

@@bobsagett lmao
Thanks for uploading this. Kind of crazy Al asked if Michelle was going to have his baby lol.
lol, I thought that was odd, too. The way he said it made me wonder if she might have said it in her 25 words or less.
Love it but its crazy to say anything on TH-cam is rare
This is pretty rare as I've never seen it and I've pretty much scoured the net for all of Al's televised appearances.
@Zidders Roofurry it's on TH-cam now so it's far from rare
it is if it's the only copy
@@St4r_Z0mb13 that only counts with physical copies this can be copies with a click of a button
@@josephamesdacey6442 yes, but who's copying?
Amazing seeing this again! Thank you for uploading these videos!
Our pleasure!
Amazing seeing this all again! I used to run home from school, in 4th and 5th grade, mind you, to watch this show! Seeing EMB and NR race at Malibu Grand Prix, the EM live in Hawaii broadcast, Y&T in the studio, HSAS live, Eddie & The Tide, Eddie Money, The Tubes, Billy Satellite... so many great bands and memories!
Glad what we did was a fun part of your early rock n roll experience!
