2. Character Characters are the driving force of any drama. They are the individuals who embody the story and drive the action forward. Effective characters are: Well-developed: They have distinct personalities, motivations, and goals. Relatable:
They evoke empathy and understanding from the audience. Dynamic: They undergo significant changes throughout the play. 3. Thought Thought, or theme, refers to the underlying message or idea that the playwright is trying to convey. It is often explored through the characters' actions and dialogue.

4. Diction Diction refers to the language used in the play, including: Dialogue: The spoken words of the characters. Monologue: A lengthy speech delivered by a single character.
