I would look into mods and sandbox settings to make your playthrough much more enjoyable. The mods open a WORLD of opportunity and the sandbox stuff can really customize your experience. For example, I'd turn on "Multi-hits" and "outlines" for when you're aiming. Makes a world of a difference!
