Improved video characteristics. This was marked Official Video, although there is a second one that's more common with Mariska in a yellow top. I don't know. I find her fascinating. A big 1969 hit for this Dutch band. They perform to the original hit audio.

Conway Twitty in Platinum High School 1960
มุมมอง 411ปีที่แล้ว
A taste of Conway Twitty as an actor in this 1960 MGM film. In the first scene here his record Platinum High School is playing on the jukebox. He also had a couple of scenes in College Confidential (which is blocked on YT). I don't know any other films where he did dramatic roles. That's Jimmy Boyd with the high voice, who had a couple of children's hits in the early 1950s like I Saw Mommy Kiss...

Conway Twitty guest starred and sang a couple of songs. This is a variation of Mean Woman Blues, and he wrote it as "I Got A Gal Miss Mamie is her name". Mamie Van Doren co-stars. Conway also sang Sexpot Goes To College over the opening credits. Conway also starred in the movie Platinum High School and sang the title song in it. But the TV showing I saw did not include it. I think it must have ...

Love their music so much, to this day❤
Que nostalgia al escuchar esta melodía donde no había nada de violencia solamente diversión me ha ce recordar mis días de escuela
Which one sang harmony?
Phil.
Truly fantastic version of a truly fastastic song.
Teresa was gorgeous! ❤️ Thank you!
No other song can ever surpass the beauty and richness of nature boy , ,more than ever , because it brings me back to the most nostalgic stage of my life , , ,
Bliss
What the hell was jimmy doing holding that accordian?
This Episode Of "Sha-Na-Na", When They Sang "(Who Wrote The) Book📖-Of-Love?" Unlike The 1950s-1960s Original Where It Was Mostly "Who MaDoo Who?" Except For The Second Where It Was "Who 'MaDoo-Doo' Who?", It/This One Just Was Always "Who 'MaDoo-Doo' Who?", Now Did "'Poop'/'Doodie'/'Doody'" Exist Evn/Even In The 1950s-1960s?
This isn't just a beautiful song but the film (video) is just a superb setting. The muted green backdrop set against the tan suit, tie and shirt combo further set against Mr. Cole's amazing dark chocolate complexion with all of it's history and unique features and, his jet black shiny, wavy hair, the other musicians. Even the piano was the right color for the setting. Just wonderful.
Omg I love them so much, so many happy memories and lots of sad ones. X
Fabulous harmonies x
Back when you had to have actual TALENT to be on TV, unlike today's reality crap
Jimmy with an accordion, but can really hear it. Must not have had some pure pork sausage before the show.
I found her via a 50’s playlist. Her song Ricochet is a good one. I could see someone like Christina Aguilera covering it .
Da durfte Frau noch Frau sein- ungegendert, symphatisch und attraktiv.
I cant stop looking at the gold pants! Hahaha!!!
Connie your my idol I love ur voice n ur songs
This is extraordinary. We owe a debt to the television archivists who kept this and preserved it.
Clyde was so good 👍
They had the best duets and hits great country artists RIP sorely missed 🙏🏼🙏🏼
They awesome singing guys ❤❤❤cheers you awesome
They were brilliant musicians.
“ The greatest thing you ever learn is just to love and be loved in return”. The simplicity of a perfect relationship… If only….. but never to be in today’s complex society of self entitled me me me syndrome. A Master piece of a song that only Nat king Cole, with his unique distinct voice that makes this song eternally special and beautiful.
I know you think you sound wise, but you're just pessimistic. And if you think the line "The greatest thing you ever learn is just to love and be loved in return" is about a *perfect relationship* it appears you missed the meaning of the entire song. Well done.
@@Mariojinn2 Which tree did you fall off from bro ??
Nature Boy is a metaphor for Christ. Just my analysis of the words. So be it. It expresses Christ's philosophy perfectly.
Rubbish, take your religious views elsewhere. For there are 100’s of other Gods that claim their rightful existence as well as your god!!
@@Alan-megan My, oh my. Did I touch a sensitive nerve in your reprobate soul? No problem. I leave you to suffer the consequences of the fate you so richly desire. So be it. Shalam.

Teresa is a very cute girl but wow, just how much lipstick did the make up artist apply?
My Mother worked for RCA records, and growing up she would bring home Records form the Everly Brothers and Elvis, My older sister Played those records over and over. I still Love them to this Day!!!!
Fun
EXCEPTIONAL TALENT.
Usually no one can cover a Nat King Cole song better than him. But Cher's tribute to Sonny comes very very close. th-cam.com/video/G7dsJG4sKYg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=M0oXoXB8h_DBSP6B
This video is priceless, this was fantastic. Jimmy Dean"s show was a favorite when I was a kid, mainly because I loved to watch Ralph one of Jim Henson's first muppets.
Great. At least you didn’t cut the opening credits like the other poster did. Thanks for the FULL episode!
Thank you for keeping this video active. I really, really enjoyed watching it. 🙂
They were on the road most of the time But if i was married to phil darn! I go on the road with him. Lol.

Four of her six gold records, the other two being "A Tear Fell" and "Let Me Go, Lover." A medley like this was a usual feature of her live shows.

Sorry Don´t nickel but I love YOU!!!!💖💖💫💫
Great to see the lovely redhead in her gold dress.
Just love Phil on the Bass... Never seen that before.
His eyes welling up as he is singing those wise, heart felt and worldly words, as the camera pans in, make me tear up even more. I feel as if he knew the joy and pain that hits at that moment in the song. 💔
Can't get enough!!!
I wonder if the violinist was Heifetz…
