MAKE IT Happen,
This Channel was started in order to document things that I MAKE. Some things are utilitarian, some are gifts, some help make daily life work a little better, and some things are just fun and cool. There are so many things that are just floating around in my head and just never get it done for various reasons. So Now I'm just going to MAKE IT happen. And you will get to see me in action!!! These videos aren't necessarily instructional in nature but you can get the gist of it. ALWAYS USE COMMON SENSE AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTION FOR THE TOOLS YOUR USING. HAPPY MAKING!!!

Making Plant Climbing Hooks for Tomatoes and Cucumbers

Using wire hangers to make plant climbing hooks for trellising tomatoes and cucumber plants. You can buy these on amazon but why buy when you can make. Be a Creator not a Consumer
Making a Compost Sifter for the Garden
มุมมอง 224 ปีที่แล้ว
There is nothing better for the garden or the environment for that matter than compost and there's nothing better than making your own. inevitably there will be items that have not broken down enough to use but you do want to use the compost that is ready. I built this quick sifter out of leftover lumber and scraps to sift out the compost that's ready to use.
Making a Soda Stream Flavor Caddy
มุมมอง 384 ปีที่แล้ว
Managing all the Soda Stream Flavor Bottle starting getting annoying, always getting in the way or knocking them down, so out of frustration I took an hours or so to make a flavor bottle caddy. I already have thoughts on another caddy or Flavor Station, maybe vertical so it takes up less counter space. Any ideas let me know and leave in the comments. Thanks For Watching.
Building a SIP Strawberry Planter
มุมมอง 1544 ปีที่แล้ว
A self irrigating planter for strawberry plants. The water sits in a reservoir made for PVC with holes drilled in it and then wrapped with weed fabric which prevents the roots from getting into the reservoir and rotting the roots. This allows the plant to have access to water for prolong periods of time.
Fixing my Water Bottle

My Thermo Flask Water Bottle Handle Broke But the Water Bottle is Perfectly Fine. I Hate to Throw Stuff Out that Still Have Useful Life. So I decided to Modify the Broken Handle So I Can Continue Using it and Maybe Make It More Usable.
Making a Totoro Costume
มุมมอง 1.7K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Inspired by Adam Savages one day build Totoro Costume, I saw a few years ago. I wanted to build my very own and now finally did. The build used similar techniques but utilizing tools and materials I have access to so some things are different (while not spending a small fortune on fur. Who knew faux fur would cost so much!!!) That's the great thing about being a maker, you can be inspired by so...

Making a Raised Planter for vegetables
มุมมอง 556 ปีที่แล้ว
With Spring here, walking around the yard to come up with my next project. Hmmm...I could paint some outdoor furniture that could use a new coat of paint. I could replace some wood edging. I could repot some plants. Nope...It's time to build a raised planter for some vegetables. We were using some small plastic planters which work OK but we were not getting that much yield and the planters wher...
Making a Robot Sumo Ring
มุมมอง 5176 ปีที่แล้ว
This video shows the process I used to construct a Lego Robotics Sumo Ring for my Robotics class. I used light weight recycled content corrugated display board and protected the edges with T-Mold Edge Banding. Spray painted the block edging for the Robots color sensor to detect the edge so it would'nt run off the board.
Reusing an Ikea dresser for scrap wood storage
มุมมอง 1786 ปีที่แล้ว
This dresser could no longer be used for clothes. The bottoms of the drawers drop out constantly and the particle board frame is falling apart. Since I hate having things go to the landfill especially when something has another use. In this case I have a lot of scrap wood from various projects that are just stored in boxes, which makes it difficult to find anything as I have to dig around and m...
Making a Pliers and Cutters Storage Rack

Making a Pliers and Cutters Storage Rack
Too cute! Well done
Thank you! 😊 this has lasted several years. Thinking what to do next. Any ideas. Maybe something to reuse the structure.
How much batting/fabric did you use?
I think I used just over 10 yard but will depend on how wide the fabric you use is. Mine was about 60” wide. I ordered 50% more bc I thought I’d mess up. Remember you’ll need some to make furry socks and feet and have to wrap the ears and make arms.
I wish there was a slow version. I need step by step directions, but thanks for the video.
Great Job!
Thanks!
Thanks for your question. It’s only about 36” in diameter. With a 1 in black boarder. Not an “official” robot sumo ring size.
Please, what are the dimensions of the ring?
where can I print your page with Totoro on it with the measurements on it
Really love the costume! I was wondering, where can I find the sticks you used for the framework? Did you use rattan like adam? If so, where can I find those. Currently working on making a totoro costume too
Yes used rattan. Ordered from Amazon. Fairly inexpensive but get more than you think you need. I think I used more than 60 feet and would have wanted more to make the ribs closer so the curve is smoother. 😊
I've used one like that you can see the tip of the driver
Horrible to watch
what are the measurements of each stripe???
And of each circle
@@zero-oe4hg Depends on the size of the shield, but generally about 2.5 to 3 inches for each ring, and the inner circle having a diameter of about 9.5 inches.
Will this hold the weight of a large single stem tomato plant? This was my idea, just not sure if it would really work.
That’s exactly what I used it for. Single stem tomato plants. I also used for cucumbers as well. Didn’t have any issues last year. Just make sure to use the heavier gage hangers. Showed some signs of rust so maybe a coat of paint will help.
The bird was malnourished and hungry, looking for food and water, and it's accustomed to being taken care of by humans.
Just what i needed! A stand alone stable rack for my vintage collection of faithful screwdrivers. Thanks!
Glad you found it useful!
Nice job ❤️❤️❤️ Such a wonderful build and looks comfortable to wear it out 💕💕💕
Thanks, it is surprisingly comfortable, I wore it last Halloween for 3-4 hours and it wasn't an issue except that it got pretty hot inside. Luckily I installed a fan inside to blow air on me and I wore shorts and a T-shirt.
Ahhhhhhh. The heat is definitely something have to bare to to make people smile definitely worth the reward 😀
please write dns ? sample 50 kg/m³ or 60 kg/m³ or 70kg/m³
Not sure what the density of the wood is. It was a block of Basswood. Basswood is great for carving, it's clear with no knots and the grain is really even. It's really easy to use a knife, rotary tool and takes a finish really well.
👍🏼 Nice job
Thanks! 👍
Your cosplay looks almost exactly like Adam Savage’s Totoro cosplay!
You need more subscribers for the amazing work you do!
I was certainly inspired by Adam savages build but with a limited budget there was somethings I had to improvise or substitute. Who knew faux fur was so expensive?!?!
It's a pigeon..
Nice work ! I just Subscribed maybe you can subscribe back .
I like the design
Thanks.
great looking work! Maybe some music would be nice for your videos, the audio destroyed my ears! haha. Again, excellent koi.
Thanks for the feed back. These tips help me make better videos. Hopefully one day I'll look back on these first videos and laugh...lol.
One of the better designs I've seen. Thanks for sharing
Thanks, I have a lot of pliers and cutters and need a way to store them efficiently as i don't have a lot of space. This design can store a whole lot in a little bit of space. Why is there a need for so many, you may ask...Why isn't there a need for so many?1?1
This inspired me to make a rack for mine. Here a video I did on it. Thanks again! BTW I have that same band saw. I keep two or three of the 561/8" blades on hand - I usually break them before I wear them out...
