Thankyou so much for the information, watching from Papua New Guinea 🙏
I have traveling internal hives without outside hives. It starts in one area for 15 to 30 minutes, then travels somewhere else. No doctor can figure out what it is or why I have it. I am allergic to NASAIDS, so I don't take those. Do you have any idea what it is and how to cure it?
"I also got rashes on skin and complete rashes on my body and itched a lot but after using livcon capsule, assicon syrup and Pimpocon lep I got complete relief,I found this medicine on Flipkart, I never had problem of urticaria again" Best ayurvedic 😊
One thing the Dr fails to mention is cost, it’s all well and good saying he always does xolair first and Prednisone and cyclosporine as a last resort but when they price xolair at £300 per 150mg and you need 300mg a month unless your very wealthy 7k per year is to much
@@jackblankley9617 Xolair is ridiculously expensive, you're right. They do have financial assistance if insurance doesn't cover it for those in the States, but I don't know how you can get help outside the US. If anyone has the answer, please share here in the comments.

So much gratitude for you, sweet girl 🙏
Thank you for your voice. My partner has had hives since he was exposed to a toxin over 10 years ago. Now he has an over reactive immune system. He's also been dismissed. It's people like you who help sufferers as much as a Dr can. He flares up from various things, and physicians give various antihistamines and steroids. We need more than that.

I’m relieved that I found this channel. I’m going through it again. I just went to an allergist. The results was inclusive. This is my 3rd test in last 7 years, results are always the same. Last incident, I really thought it was bed bugs at first or dust mites, so I had to throw my mattress and a lot of things in the house that collect dust. It’s a nightmare, I can sleep at night
I was never allergic to anything until 34 and suddenly I got urticaria. Maybe from alcohol or from peniclin. It’s been 10 months now I’m suffering. Using anti histamines only
I’m waiting for my punch biopsy I have a rash no ones knows what it is looks like excema and psoriasis but to me they look like hives been having them for one year they get worse at times only on my back and go toward the front a bit

This is so helpful. I have just got a diagnosis for cholinergic urticaria and its been extremely hard to navigate with little to no information, and very little help from the doctor at the hospital.

I itch without hives. Most doctors I have encountered just say we try to make you comfortable. It’s extremely frustrating. Glad to hear about this and not the usual laundry list of things to try or buy.

I cured my chronic urticaria switching my diet from omnivore (Mediterranean) to Whole Food Plant Based, low in fats. At first I ate only big raw salads of carrots and cabbages. The illness got worse first and then disappeared after 3 weeks. I felt so good with that way of eating that I kept going. After 13 years the urticaria hasn't coming back, and I am still great with a fantastic health! I highly reccomend look into the WFPB diet. It all start in the instestine, wrong foods cause inflammation, and the good one report the body to its healthy state. Try by yourself! 💚

I got hives first time when I was 15 years old.I am 30 now and still I am getting urticaria attacks .Wheels have become so regular that It is now almost difficult to know what is triggering my urticaria. All I know till date is my allergy is trigged by heat, going out on summer heat, eating refined flour foods, oily friedfood, stress and sometimes it is so spontaneous that I do not find a trigger. Most disheartening is that most of doctors do not take urticaria patients seriously and for them it is a normal allergy and not a disease that is deadly.I am quite aware that what kind of mental stress a person goes through who has hives.
Reading these comments is both disheartening but also comforting to know I'm not alone. I have the same experience. I tried elimination diet, same experience from oily fried foods. I have tried everything. To the point I don't know what's causing it or helping. All I can say is drink lots of water, Quercetin supplements may help, good exercise, no alcohol but I'm sure you already know all this. This condition is hell. When it's at its worst, I genuinely want to die. I hope and pray we may all receive relief and hopefully a cure from this awful disease

I have urtecaria and am on 450mg Xolair every 2nd week. Currently with no effect and only keeping away the hives barely with 12,5mg prednosolone😮
@rasmuspedersen7173 It can take up to 6 months in some people. Autoimmune urticaria is particularly stubborn. You may want to get your vitamin D checked if you haven't already. Low D can make hives worse, and prednisone can also lower it. I' glad I found your vidoes. I have urticaria and angioedema since April, and I struggle a lot. I live in Hungray and I started at my local doctor, he gave me the 1 tablet antihistamine, that didn't work, he gave me an other, that didn't work, I went som enights to emergency care because I was so afraid when I was full of hives, but they didn't help me, sent home. The I went to the local dertmatology clinic but this is a public health center so I never saw the same doctor twice. They sent me to tons of other doctors, I was at the dentist to extract wisdom teeth, etc., I spent lot of money at private physisans to get these examinations as fast as possible, but they din't find anything. I got Medrol twice, first I started in May and at the end I got around two weeks without any medication in the middle of summer, but then it started over again, and I had to go back to the clinic, I got Medrol again for two weeks, but it is not gone. I am on 4 tablets of antihistamines now, without Medrol but still have some red spots every morning, sometime a little swelling on my mouth. The one thing I don't understand, I need to take two kind of acid reducers, despite I don't have any problems with my stomac. Watching more and more videos about this disease I don't understand why. Now I have to write down what I eat every day and if I got any symptoms or not, and thes said I will have an injection if I still have symptoms. I am really scrared, I hate needles, I cannto stop thinking that I have to go for an injection every month, it is worse then having hives, really, I could cry all day beabuse of this. Isn't there a treatment which does not involve needles? What if I go on vacation? or it is a public holiday? Who will give the shot to me? I cannot imagine do it myself, no that cannot happen, I rather have hives :( I am so stressed and full of uncertainty what will happen now. The doctors at the public health center do not say too much just gime an othert drug the next one stops that and say a different thing, and they never tell me what is happening, what is it, why I get what I get, will I get injections my whole life or what? I really afraid getting injections, I usualy feel really bad after a vaccine or blood test and I feel the needle inside me for days, and I don't know how I will I survive all these injections
I found your conversation with Dr. Maurer very interesting and rewarding. His passing is a great loss for the Urticaria Community. But he leaves behind an impressive body of work and legacy. Wich will live on.

I been dealing with blisters like rashes on face for past 5 months...I assumed these factors ...I eliminated and narrowed down diet for triggers ..results I found that are triggers and seem to be suspicious ingredients are things that are made using enriched flour (fortified wheat) but no issues with whole grain ..Tap water even if it's filterd . So now I only drink distilled and i just add Himalayan salt or shaylegit for minerals...some dairy products, processed food . ...I eat raw ginger and do a water fasting at lest 2 to 2 times A week usually try 16h water fast while eating raw ginger fast every 24 to 48h ...but I seem most positive results when I incorporate castor oil ,apricot oil , and lavender for clearing skin symptoms and inflammation...that has work so far so good ...also I had yest infection off and on but only in the past month ..face blisters have been past 5 months...then this week I had period so I got the usually acne but every thing else has cleared up ...im so happy even if it's not permanent fix ...I relived I have it under control atm...😅
RIP Marcus. 😢

The carnivore diet is in my opinion against nature, then we must take into account all that it implies, the animal suffering which is enormous and I encourage you to watch the Australian documentary Dominion so that you have an idea. Once again, Gillian Berry's channel is really great.

I feel this so much.🙌 I haven't had these issues since I was a kid, but I've had a crazy resurgence of urticaria with the added fun of cellulitis. The cellulitis is triggered by insect bites that normally do hardly anything to me.🤷♂️ Dermatologist is controlling my urticaria with 2 doses of Allegra and Pepcid a day; seems to be working. I have Chronic Asthma and I've heard about respiratory issues being related with urticaria. It seems a lot of this path being your own detective, because it's almost impossible to get straight answers from doctors. Anyway...thanks for the useful content on your channel.

This is so interesting. So, if you have chronic hives does this suggest an autoimmune condition...or is spontaneous hives itself autoimmune? Sorry...im really new to this! Thank you. Xxx
@@charlottestandage2765 It could be either, but many times CSU itself is the autoimmune condition. When you have one autoimmune condition you are more likely to develop more as well. Don't be sorry for asking questions. That's exactly why I made these resources 🙂

Totally nailed it Doc Marcus Mauerer. I’ve been having CSU for about 2.5 months and random red marks would just appear every single day - after I shower, or whenever I wash my hands and even doing the simplest of chores like carrying things would immediately form rashes randomly. What is the best treatment? Should I be worried of having Hypothyroid?
