This week Licensed Unity Teacher Linda Gillispie will be the guest speaker for our celebration of Mother's Day. Linda received her certification as a Licensed Unity Teacher in 2004.
She has served Unity of Austin, is now serving Unity of New Braunfels, and is the current LUT Representative on the board of trustees of Unity South Central Region.
In addition to teaching classes, she managed the Sacred Corner Bookstore, facilitates a weekly book study via Zoom, has been guest speaker at various Unity Churches, and serves as a Prayer Chaplain.
For her Mother’s Day message she will share her perspective of the feminine-masculine nature within us all. An idea some in Unity refer to as Father - Mother God. Her talk will include a brief history of how we have come to celebrate mother's at this particular time of the year, as well as the beginning of this tradition which dates back to the ancient Greeks.
