This is eye-opening stuff about hexavalent chromium. I cannot imagine how hard it would be for someone to not only involve themself in the process of chrome but also to work near it. I recently learned about a coating tech called EPVD that's supposed to be way safer and eco-friendly DOING THE SAME JOB AS CHROME, (maybe better - not sure - have a read here : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetically_enhanced_Physical_Vapor_Deposition) It's cool to see alternatives popping up that could make workplaces safer.

Any mind can be a disaster like the one in West Virginia. Methane can appear suddenly.
