Hey man! I've got a Tracer from 2021. And it has been making a LOT of rattle on the front. I've sent it to Yamaha shops and they've told me that it was the mechanism on the visor. But it has gotten much worse. Soon as I go beyond 4k RPM I can even hear the rattle with music on.. Any ways to fix it? Did you suffer from it too?

I have had 1 disclock for 2 years in one of the worst areas in the UK for bike thefts and it hasn't been yoinked yet

I use a big long padlock that threads around the front disc. Strong and cheap. Then I use a magnet that I put on top of the MC key slot so that I remember to remove it. Store the magnet on the frame when not in use.

Yup even popping into a shop, stick on a disc lock to make it look unappealing. Only takes a couple of seconds to apply. With a cable lock obviously now!! I had my first drop last week when not feeling well and drove off without removing it. I really thought I was going to be buying a 7GT after passing my Mod2 in April but as I learned thru BMW I ended up with a 750gs similar to what I used. Soo comfy and easy to ride. It would have taken me until Aug to go thru all the bikes I was interested in to make another decision.

I got mt 125 2016 but I have 4 pin I have no engine light but unsure why my idle unstable. Do you have link for 4 pin to go with this obd reader thanks

On the 2015- 2018 tracer 7 workshop manual cals for 75 Nm torque on the bolt. 46 Nm is for newer models?

Do you reckon 16t sprocket will fit on the front? Is there enough space there?

Never understood why folk sit on a bike to fill it with fuel. If it ignites on hot engine at any point, you are screwed.

What mirrors are those bud, they seem quite stable even thought they fold?

Is it legal to ride over the central chevrons? Does that count as filtering or is it a grey area?

This rattle noise drives me nuts. How is it after 2 moths? I am planning to tear down front and put some adhesive backed felt on lower skeed of the sceen holder.

I have a 2018 yamaha mt 125 abs I turned it on the other day and engine warning light came on there was no error codes no flashing light nothing just the warning light . The bike runs fine no problems at all I took it to 2 different garages and when they plugged the diagnostic machine in it wouldn't allow them access to ecu to turn warning light off I'm puzzled

nice views. would totally photograph the landscape and get me some nice desktop photos. I just filmed a vlog on. a road with a bunch of cattle grates too. pesky little grates especially when they place them in the middle of a turn. luckily that give us some warning signs before you get to them. nice to see non of the sheep crossing the road. they just roam freely which is nice but would make me nervous

I always chain the front sprocket bolts and lock washer as well

Just done mine I used renthal sprockets all round and new did gold chain and rear sprocket titanium blue nuts it's looks so nice check it out on my shorts

There is a nice easy green lane that runs past Stonehenge! 🙂 I used to have to ride the A303 every week when I was based in Plymouth/Torpoint back in my navy days, used to do mu head in during holiday season, traffic was always a mare. 600 miles non stop is big miles.... I think the furthest I have travelled without a break other then fuel was around 500 miles up to Scotland, but for enjoyment, I tend to stick to 300 tops if travelling without a proper break.

I can do an hour and half of riding before I need to stop for a rest. I think like 130 miles lol. just wish I had more cushion in my seat I use one of the air cushions. they do ok. but my legs get cramped pretty quickly.

Don't waste your money on an Akrapovic...Arrows downpipes,K+N filter and a 3D printed airbox lid, custom mid-section and a £44 fake Akra can(no flash needed),night and day difference! Just bought a 2nd one,both same colour as yours, build an advanced GT out of #2. Motul fully synthetic (7100), runs silky smooth on that gear!
