CCSS06 my submission 2 timelapse
Sixth Crispy Chicken Speedmap Session (CCSS06) is themed shovelware/retro/corruption.
"You found a box of floppies in the basement. One of them has a Doom mod you don't remember playing. It's been there for 30 years. Let's see if the 386 still works.."
This map is made in DETH (Doom Editor For Total Headcases) v4.24 with busted nodebuilder so there are plenty artifacts when playing. Running in Dosbox-X emulating i486DX2@66MHz.
Sped-up 20x and audio is paulstretch-ed 5x at 0.25 resolution, and bass-boosted. This is to dodge fking copyright scam channels. I made the music myself, don't you dare claim it.

This map was made in Eureka for doom 2 community project No Pockets during NaNoWADMo. No Pockets has a gimmick of limiting the player to only 2 weapons. and nanowadmo is a mapping project, where people from the community gather round to make stuff, traditionally during October. Two mapping streams merged together and sped up 20x. About 8 hours total. It's all recorded off a dosbox-x running 486DX2 clocked at 66MHz, with DETH - DOOM Editor for Total Headcases, and testing in the original doom executable from 1993. Hideous is a mod that generally makes things much harder. Most maps are impossible to beat with the mod. But it balances a little bit by giving you some powerful tools that let you sequence break if/when necessary.

ok DETH is clearly based on DEU the interface is similar of not identical, damn cool and nostalgic! Oh nvm you say in the desc DETH is the successor to DEU, lols!

Well that was not the way i expected someone to complete this level, but i guess is a better option than wasting a lot of ammo and resources clearing the whole level
