Summer '95 Build
An old tape Meg and I found, from when I first started working on the game. It looks like the end was recorded over a couple times.
We're both doing fine, but we might not be uploading for a good while after this one. Sorry so much for the sparse uploads, but it's hard to find stuff like this now. Maybe eventually we'll hit upon another treasure trove, but for now I think we're just going to go back to normal life stuff. Hope you all are doing well. We'll be back at some point, and we might still do community posts.

Another tape in my collection. Has some stuff that's dated fairly close to Spaceworld 1995. Information about the tracks on this tape: Track 1 is a slightly earlier version of the main theme. It's extremely similar to the version heard in the public demo, but has some slight differences. Track 2 is an earlier version of the Wing Cap theme, dated around 1994. An audio tape I dug up from my closet. Seems to be a very early draft of a Super Mario 64 commercial before the thing got delayed and this commercial was shelved. Fun fact, I'm in this one. The voice saying "amazing" was me when I started out work. I wasn't very into it, as you can probably guess.
Developer Animation Showcase

This QuickTime video was sent to business partners in order to showcase SM64's models, as well as the animations. I actually helped with this one, so I had a backup. Fun fact, all the animations for Mario were done with real human reference footage.

I dug this old footage up recently. This was the developer crash handler used to debug the game. This is showcased on a near final dev build. More interesting stuff coming soon, I promise. - EB

originally I thought mario was scratching his head in confusion like he didn't know what went wrong
