Down the trail can’t see it but there was a drainage thing I couldn’t turn

This is an older azonic downhill mountain bike, I would definitely look for something full suspension. For a beginner I would say maybe look for some type of enduro mountain bike. To get you started and comfortable once you start getting some big air I would suggest a downhill bike as they take the landings better

That’s was my buddy I beg him to wear a full face lmao I always wear my full face dirtbike helmet not worth the risk🤘🏻

I do not know about preloading at all, I will look up some videos on how to do that thank you! rewatching the footage made me realize the only thing stopping me from hitting that right-handed kicker was commitment! same thing with the jumps I didn't know the speed I needed to clear them so every time just before I hit one, I would break tap sometimes not knowingly just instinct also I believe I need a bit more pull up on the handlebars to stop my nosedive. I should be back there in a few weeks, and I can't wait to try for redemption!

​@@jrippin236 he is referring to the range of movement on your front fork and rear sus if you have full suspension, usually classified in millimeters. Although by your previous comments, I would assume you do not know that info. I would guess somewhere in the range of 100-150mm of travel/absorption, that's pretty common. But with it being an early 2000's bike, I'm not sure. Have a good day and safe riding my friend!

yes, a little bit of both I grew up riding BMX at my local skate park and more so recently I got into hitting jumps I made with my dirt bike 2 years ago I would love to take it out on a real track sometime!

😅 I couldn’t really tell you I guess my body does it naturally, I’m still trying to learn the basics and body positions on the bike while I’m riding and hitting the jumps my formation definitely needs work! Sometimes I get ahead of myself overthinking everything

@jrippin236 starting out keep your knees tight to the tank, elbows high and stay in the throttle. Brake and throttle control will help you with leveling your bike out in the air as you start to catching bigger air.
