At around 2:50 you're disconnecting the NEGATIVE lead and it's obviously on the RIGHT side of the bike. At around 3:00 you're disconnecting the POSITIVE lead and it's obviously on the LEFT side of the bike. At around 3:30 you say you needed a battery with the Negative post on the LEFT and POSITIVE post s on the RIGHT. What you say at 3:30 contradicts what is shown in video.

I used to race motorcycles as a "local pro" on the west coast. I only mention that to qualify the tips I'm about to give you. Tip #1. You hold onto the motorcycle with your knees & legs! You steer, throttle, and brake with your hands. Yes you somewhat hold onto the bike with your hands, but 80% of holding onto the bike should be with your legs/knees. #2. ALWAYS have 2 fingers on your front brake lever!!!!! ALWAYS!!!! Those two fingers should NEVER leave that lever until you get off the bike. I'll bet you didn't have two fingers on that lever, which would've given you at least an extra 100-130 feet of stopping distance by not losing time to reach out and grab your brake lever. Holding the bike with your legs/knees lets you steer with much more control under hard braking. #3. Place your fingers on your front brake lever. When seated on the bike you should be able to run a straight piece of wood or metal from your elbow along your forearm to your finger tips on the brake lever. If your finger tips are below the wood, raise the lever until they touch it. Proper lever setup is crucial to ride comfort, control and proper bio mechanics. Good luck out there...

Glad you're saying it. My Cardo Freecom 4+ flew off on a local road. Not sure how it happened. Perhaps I accidentally touched the release latch. I searched for the unit on the road but without luck. Major drawback. Also, that wheel thing annoyed the hell out of me because I kept on pressing it with my shoulder.

Jeeez, a blessing you made it to tell the story. Could’ve been fatal. I got into a really fckd up accident last year. Some clown failed to yield, mashed on the gas going left across a 4way intersection, not even from a turning lane and stopped in the middle of the lane right front of me. I slammed in the passenger side of her suv. My heritage shot to the left and I got catapulted into the air about 15 feet. Landed on my back. Broke my pelvis all the way through, shattered my right arm from elbow to wrist, sprained my right ankle. 3 surgeries. Took me over a year to mostly recover, bed ridden and wheelchair bound for majority of it. But all thanks to the great spirit! I haven’t started back riding yet. Totaled my bike. Looking forward to getting another one and riding again when I can afford another bike. Racked up half a million dollars in medical bills 🥴 but we are fckn lucky!! Thanks for sharing! 🤘🏾🤙🏾

Just a few quick things: You can't get "shocked" from 12 volts. You can inadvertently hit the positive feed or terminal to ground causing a huge problem, but you won't get shocked. Bolt at bottom of strap is 3/8th. Terminal bolts are always 10MM. And if using a battery tender, less complicated and much easier to connect the negative tender wire to the small ground post on top of engine case right under the battery.

Nice Lid ✅ I just ordered one yesterday…. Yeah - that Pinlock Shield should definitely be included…. I have a $900.00 Arai helmet for the track that didn’t even come with a pinlock ready Visor, much less the shield 🤷🏻‍♂️. I bought all that afterwards….. All the manufacturers are doing the same thing in that regard. I think your higher-end helmets really should include it. Kind of a D-bag move I think, but whatever. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyway, Great review. Yours was one of the ones I actually made it through until the end. Really helpful,, Plus you’ve got this laid back, mellow voice, kinda female Bob Ross thing going on. I’m digging it ✅😆 P.S. Nice ride. I just picked one up . Been riding Italian bikes forever, but that 114 made me jump. That 114 - M8 Motor kicks ass down low, which is where I like it. So now there’s an American sandwiched in between 2 Italian’s in my garage - H-D pulled it off with that one 🤘. Anyway, thanks for the cool review - it definitely helped.. You’re super hot. Yeah, yesterday was a good day. Keep the rubber side down. Pete ☘️😈
