Calls for the resignation of the Archbishop of Canterbury have become headline news in the last 48 hours. This arises from a report published last week into the appalling abuse perpetrated by John Smyth on over 100 victims, through contacts at a leading private school, and summer Christian camps. Amongst other things, the report finds that, when made aware of the abuse in 2013 "Justin Welby hel...

◄ John 7:38 ► Jesus said “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
Thanks Mark
You can have people in leadership roles that have 'passed' the 'safety test' simply because of their 'status' in society. If you take safeguarding seriously then there needs to be accountability and individuals need to be 'removed' from positions of authority in the church. The norm seems to be to protect the institution so those in authority are shielded by those higher up in the organisation and victims are then turned into trouble makers for having raised the issue of manipulation and coercion by senior officials who also have influence in the broader community also. The police will probably also cover up for manipulation in the church so that the 'image' and good reputation of the organisation is protected. If you have abusive bullies in the church they should be sacked from their position and prevented from using the church in order to promote themselves and their reputation in society. Compensation for victims of naracistic abuse must also be paid out by a repentant organisation. Actions speak louder than words. Bishops should also be removed from the house of Lords. Those who cover up for criminals have no right to be in a position that allows them to be part of the process of law making in the United Kingdom. A church that is seen to lack honesty and integrity is not a safe place for anyone to either volunteer or worship Sunday by Sunday.
The C or E is finished , Gay priests, Same sex marriage the work of Satan,I Left and now follow the Orthodox Church who fights Satan.
Time for this medieval superstitious nonsense to be consigned to the dustbin. Imagine grown ups believing in a magic man in the sky, virgin birth, raising the dead? it is ridiculous and they try to get kids to believe this stuff- plain wrong.
And people wonder why society is becoming less religious with time.
hi thanks chris... just found you!

Give everything to God because God gave us everything that we have and are. And so everything we do, say and think we should seek God and He will direct us in every single thing, including what to give and where. Seek the will of God to know His will to do His will while relying on God for everything. If we do as we see God doing and speak as we hear God speaking and think as we hear Christ thiatnking we will be doing as we should. What ever God says: do that! Listen to God. ❤ Be careful what men say...test what you hear from men in order to know if it is true or not.
Praise God, bless the Lord all my soul and everything within me

An awesome play indeed I wish it was a real piano tho
Thank you so much. It is the pianist's challenge to adapt to the instrument they are presented with!
I didn't realise that this is for children at the beginning. But I listened all the way through anyway. I'm 67 by the way.
Thank you for this.
