Love this little kit, did build & paint videos on my channel a while ago.... I feel the boundry wall lets it down, as in scale, its too thin...The butresses (supports) are correct, I have similar walls close to me in Nottinghamshire, but these are half the thickness they should be.

4:46 the FG42 is an assault rifle, so rules have always existed for it the outrage about the sten gun is because that was not a common captured weapon, the Soviet capture guns make perfect sense though I'd must rather have another pair of arms with ANY German weapon, than have 5 sten guns which I will never use

Nice review. I would expect less FG42 than given on the sprue. They really didnt make very many. I think it was about 7000 units. It was a very rare weapon. Compare that to 426,000 MP/STG44 made, thats 60 times more STG available across the German armed forces. I agree that they are much more suitable for the Eastern Front, I haven't found a single photo of FJ in the Bulge wearing these parkas. They are usually in smocks worn over greatcoats. Nor do you see the Waffen SS wear them in the Bulge. Loads of conversion potential though, just fill in the quilting for Heer or SS.

I respect people who open parcels and boxes with finesse. I suggest experimenting with the backpacks on the backs of different figures to get a better closure. Some sit apart depending on hunch of certain figures. Looks like Victrix have moved to a better plastic. Its a great kit with a lot of flexibility. Almost don't need the Old Guard box

I think the size or 'scale' of the building depends on the kind of game you are playing. The larger house is better suited for man to man skirmish games while the smaller buildings are better for abstracted mass battle games. It's not usual to use 10/6 or even 2mm buildings for divisional or army level 15mm games.
