Seal coating is a waste of time and money

Before Covid and before the Russian invasion you could get a gallon of uncut coal tar sealer for about two dollars a gallon. And by time you get the crew the equipment there is (not enough money in it) That’s why for most companies it’s just a side business of paving.

Actually, Sealcoating is a big money-making business. If the asphalt businesses were interested in actually protecting your asphalt, they would apply a rejuvenator product that blackens your asphalt and rejuvenates it thereby extending it's life 5-7 years, it only requires a single coat, and can be driven on it in most cases within an hour. Sealcoating is too expensive for what you're getting.

So what makes your operation better than Joe Shmoes' operation? What does your company do to make the sealcoat last 3-5 years, while Joes' only lasts 6 months?

how do you really preserve the pavement ? brush, blow, crack fill, & seal correct ? I live in Los Angeles and would like to properly seal driveways any tips thanks !

My company I work for we did a 185,000 sq ft parking lot, all hand brushed on and second coat spray on it with 8 guys had it done in 9 hours, good work!

Great video! I have a 2016 P385B as well but we haven’t used it yet. It’s being stored inside our shop . Could you possibly tell me where the battery or batteries are? It was started for several months and it’s dead. Thank you.

I am located in Pensacola, Florida but my husband was raised in Louisville. I came across your videos while researching asphalt pavers. I have a Blaw Knox and was comparing the Leeboy and Weiler P385. Your videos was helpful to me during this research. We went with the Weiler and my guys are learning to pave with the track paver versus the wheeled. Keep the videos coming. I have learned a lot. We are a small woman owned site work construction company. My father started the business in 1972 but I took over in 2009. Good luck with your endeavors.
