With over 3,500 shows under his belt, this Houston-born, Eugene, Oregon-based artist knows how to captivate an audience. Blending Tex-Mex, country, and a touch of hip-hop swagger, Marshall proves that you don’t need polish when you’ve got raw authenticity.
Opening with The Flea Market is the Truth, Marshall painted a vivid picture of Houston’s pulga culture, where tacos, socks, and secondhand treasures coexist. His reflective ballad The Longest Day brought a dose of hope for anyone navigating life’s toughest moments. Dasa Americano dug deep into the experience of living between two worlds, and the TH-cam-exclusive Nashville Snow closed things out with a bittersweet nod to the grind of being a touring musician.
Rico kept the soundboard humming, Bleu had the mics in check, and Marshall turned in a performance as tight as his gold chain. Meanwhile, Masaya did what Masaya does best-barely keeping the cameras upright and proving yet again that KPFT Sessions is better for its crew, not its chaos.
