This is the music video for Hourglasses, by Colin Robertson. It's a sappy love song about long distance relationships. It seemed only fitting that once our long distance period ended, we should collaborate on the video.

Brilliant
This was lovely. Thanks for posting! I have been thinking about this song a lot lately and have been looking up different versions of this on TH-cam! Yours is one of the best!
I totally agree. I found this video researching the song for a posting on Quora. I was answering a question about songs that have darker meaning that most people know. This cheerful and hopeful song was one of my answers. Sung on its own, like they do for graduations, it's about optimism and endless possibilities. But taken in context, it's an ironic song to highlight bitter disillusionment. Anyway... I was mesmerized by Colin's incredible portrayal of youthful exuberance and naivete. Like you said, it's one of the best I've seen. And of course, the vocals are amazing. Easy on the eyes too 😉. I say all that as a jaded New Yorker used to the best of cabaret and Broadway. I hope to see him perform in NYC one day.
@@RationalSaneThinker Yes, I live in NYC too! Did you see that there is a revival of Merrily We Roll Along with Jonathan Groff and Daniel Radcliff?
@@GiftSparksI have tickets for December 😊 I’ve seen every production of this show in NYC since I was born
